It retails for $29 but with the $10 off coupon (Which a kind and generous customer handed me while I was standing in line. How cool is that???) you can get it for about $21 (after tax). I haven't put it together and tested it yet but I will let you all know.

Hi Stacey - thanks for the heads up, and for including your name! Now I can think of you as Stacey rather than SSW :D

Did yours come with straps? I read on Amazon that some do and some don't. And I think my coupons are for $5 - maybe I should go check again :) Good deal!

Thanks for the post! I, too, would love a review. I have a door opening by my workout space--wider than an average door--but it doesn't have a frame around it. Would this bar work?

I'm going to put it together tonight and see if it will fit my door frame but I'm kind of nervous because my house was built in 1915 and I read the other thread about the damaged door frame. I'm also thinking all my doors might be too wide to use the device. I can tell you that there are several pull-up bars on the market designed to SET on your door frame (requiring no hardware and which can be taken down and removed) but all require an actual door frame on which to set the device. If you don't actually have a door frame you have to try pull-ups another way. Also, because the bar edges rest on top of and outside of the door frame it has to be placed on the side on which the door does not swing because the door would be in the way of the end of the bar. Thus, you'd probably be doing your pull-ups in the hallway, facing the room where your tv is, since the door to the room swings into the room. I'm really nervous about trying to use my door frame to pull my body weight but I've read a lot of reviews all over the internet and have only seen a few negatives, mostly from guys who put the thing up and tried to do pull-ups real fast. Somehow, I doubt I'm going to have THAT problem! I'm praying I can just pull up halfway... once.

This is definitely going to be one of those things I'll need to work UP to:p

i would also like to know how this works for ya. i don't want to drill holes to put up my pull up bar in the new house and this might work. i feel bad b/c i want to start doing pull ups again. i was starting to get the hang of doing one LOL

In addition to expired coupons

they also take Linens and Things coupons as well. Now just last night I read that L & T is going out of business - anyone else hear this??

My Bed, Bath and Beyond lets you use expired coupons. And, if you have 5 items, they let you use 5 coupons. My sister went to the register with a bunch of items and coupons and the cashier said she could use them all!

I got this last night and LOVE IT! It is super comfy to use, quick to assemble, and very sturdy. The best part was... I did my first unassisted pull up in my life! I had no idea that Cathe has helped me gain that strength, but she sure has :D
