Joey is putting in an aerobic flooring

Hi folks,

My Joey is making an aerobic floor for us! He has already bought the plywood for this project.:D

I already have the 1/2 inch puzzle mats to be sandwiched in-between the plywood boards.

We are looking at Pergo (fake wood flooring with a cushion under it) for the top of this floor and bought a few samples. I hit these samples with things, dropped weights on them and they are holding up very well.

The floor size is 12' X 10' in our family room. Our weights and where we do cardio and step ups are in there too. Our couch is using the one long side of this flooring. It will give us a 10 X 10 floor to do cardio of all kinds.;)

This will be done in about two and a half weeks from now. Yooohooo!

Also bought a bokken (wooden sword) and a Ilaria Montagnani DVD "Forza" on how to use that sword. This DVD looks really good and you should see Ilaria. She is buffed to the max. She also has Powerstrike DVD which I'm watching on E-bay for a small amount of money so far. I hope it stays at that price.

Anyone out there like Powerstrike or Forza? Would love to know your opinions.:)

Things to look forward to. Or am I bored?

Janie

Congrats on the flooring. I wish I could talk my DH into putting in a floor for me (my floor is concrete).

Is there a clip of the Forza DVD on her website? I've read about it and sounds pretty interesting.

Janie1234,

I got it on Amazon.com. It was $29.00. I think I checked Collage Video after I bought it and found it was a little less expensive. :)

Wanted this workout I didn't even look for bargins. That is not like me, but what can I say.;)

I see you like to draw? Check out the "Yarnfever" in social groups.

Have you tried the Forza dvd yet? I'm so curious how people like that one, I looked at it and ended up getting Powerstrike instead on Amazon. Just a note, I recently contacted them, and they said they will soon have more Ilaria dvds on amazon and collage, as well as a new section on their website to sell the dvds.

I really really like the Powerstrike dvd, not as intense as some others, but I felt very energized and "up" afterwards, actually I'm gonna go do that one now!

Let us know how you like Forza. Thanks!

Hey Janie~Congrats on getting an aerobics floor! We are also going to put one in as soon as our other huge project (a pool) is finished. I ordered the foam blocks from Stagestep and am just waiting on the plywood to glue them all on. I'll be anxious to hear how yours works for you.

I have all four of the Powerstrike workouts and Forza. My favorite is #4 just because I like one lead better--it's more focused. You will love Forza! It is just a fun workout and you really feel it the next day. ;-) Did you hear that Ilaria is coming out with some new workouts?

Susan where did you get your DVD's and how would you compare the intensity to Cathe? Can these be modified to make it harder? Like jumping higher? Thanks

I'll check out the yarnfever social groups thanks for the heads up. I love textiles, and kniting but I'm not that good at it. I'm better at quilting and drawing.
