Water Retention from heat?

Trying to figure out how I'm two pounds up this week despite keeping the same workout schedule as usual .. it's been pretty hot here this week, more so than last ... Does high temperatures cause water retention? I know it's not diet ... nothing has changed there this week.

This website: http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/edema.htm says: "Tissues are more likely to swell in the heat." Maybe that's the case.

Oh my gosh...YES!!!! Big time. I've been this way since I was younger, too. It drives me crazy because it's so uncomfortable. And forget the scale when it's like this. I do..haha It's just not worth getting upset especially when you know you've been working hard and eating right. My wedding rings will get tight, my toes start to swell and then when I get into the air conditioning my rings starts spinning around my fingers and my shoes get loose.

Just thought you'd like someone to commiserate with!!! I know I do. Now turn I'm going to go and turn that air down in here, I'm swelling as I type this..haha

Oh yeah, heat is a bad factor, I retain water too, so the best thing for me during the summer days is stick with fresh salads and lots of fruits and still I will swollen if I am exposed outdoors.
