SAHMs, I need some advice!

RE: Health insurance

Because neither my daughter nor I have any health issues, I just purchased a high-deductible policy from Blue Cross when I wasn't working, or when my dookie-jobs didn't provide any benefits. (Which was most of my working life.) The deductible is 2500 a year. We barely went to doctors, so I never used it, but it cost about 100 a month for both of us. Just in case we got into a car accident or broke an arm or something. If you don't have some obviously expensive health issue, this is an affordable and sane solution. Then, use home remedies and prevention for your "health care" so you don't need to go to the doctor except for emergencies.
