At around 2:00 - 3pm today we are going to have to down the Cathe server and website so that we can install the new version of Cathe.com. This update is the second of four updates we have planned for our site. In our phase #1 update several months ago we updated our shop.cathe.com web pages. In this update (phase #2) we will launch our new look for our Cathe.com site which we’ve been working on for the past several months.
We hope you will find the new modern look easier to navigate and more mobile friendly. We hope to only to be down for a few minutes, but things can certainly go wrong that will prolong our downtime.
Once the new site is up we will have our “speed” specialist optimize and tweak the site so that it loads as fast as possible. This too has the potential to cause issues while this work is going on, so don’t be surprised if we’re down for longer than a few minutes and more than once.
