"Dry" Shampoo - anyone try/use it?

I know washing your hair every day is bad - I usually just rinse on alternate days, but I wish I could have it feel cleaner.

Anyone use/tried "dry" shampoos and what do you think?

RE:

I've never tried "dry" shampoos, but I've been shampoo-free for over a year now. On wash days (usually 2-3 times/week), I use 1/4c. baking soda in a pitcher with a few drops of tea tree oil (for my itchy scalp), fill the pitcher with water, dump it over my head and scrub. Rinse throughly, then I take 1/3c. apple cider vineger (yes, you have to have this kind and not regular white vinegar) in the pitcher, fill with water, dump over my head. Comb through and then rinse. It's great. My itchy scalp cleared up virtually overnight this way, and it's all natural and great for your hair and scalp. There's more info about the why's and such at a great website I'm on a lot here: http://www.amitymama.com/articles/homekeeping/43/why-you-should-go-shampoo-free.html

Anyway, I hope you think about that as an option :)
