Hi Debra!
(My name too!) Thank you so much for asking. Julie is still the same. Very sick and is having a very hard time eating anything. She is still on the cancer med for nausea but it is not working. Well, at least we don't think it is. We are wondering if she would be sicker if she wasn't on it??? Unfortunately, she could not attend Thanksgiving with us here and the rest of the family yesterday as she cannot ride in the car. She was set back even sicker after going to her Dr. appointment the other day and was in the bathroom all afternoon! :-( They also found out that the med she is on is only covered 80% ($400.00/day) which works out to $80.00 their share! That has her a bit stressed too. I am hoping after some time passes that she will feel better. I'll try to keep you posted. We are taking a meal up for Scott & Kennedy later today so they can have some goodies they missed yesterday. Thank you so much for keeping us in your thoughts. You are so sweet and thoughtful!!!!

On a brighter note~They took a sonogram of the baby and everything looks fine!!! Fun seeing it sooo soon! Thanks again Debra!

Thanks so much Debra, Val & Carol. (Val, soooo nice to see you here!) Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I have passed each & every thought unto Julie. We took dinner up last night for them to have a late Thanksgiving. Julie has been in bed for two whole days. She gets sicker if she gets up and starts moving around so she took advantage of Scott being off for a couple days. We too are hoping that soon the intense sickness will pass and that she will be able to function somewhat. They are thinking of putting Kennedy in daycare for a couple or three days a week which is not what any of us want. Jul cried telling us last night and I felt bad. It is so hard living so far apart, not to mention hubby & I both work. I know all this will pass and we just pray for some relief at this point. Thank you all so much for being there for my whining. You guys are wonderful!

and the last thing she needs right now is more anxiety about the cost of it all and insurance payments!!! I hate it when those things come along to make you feel even sicker. Is julie in her first trimester? If so, there's hope for some degree of relief in the second stage, right? I truly hope so. See ya Debbie,

Hi Clare, yes, she is still in her first trimester. (approx. 9 weeks along) My Mom, Julie & I all stayed sick the whole pregnancy, nine months, morning, noon & night, but we are praying Julie's will subside sooner this time around. I agree that the last thing she needs is more stress with the insurance. They will be working that all out tomorrow. She may go back on pill form rather then IV's, which unfortunately don't work as well. Thanks for your thoughts.
