CHEETAHS...TGIF!!! :-) :-) :-)

Looks like I was the last one to post:eek: :) I guess if I wasn't at work I wouldn't be online either so I can't blame ya!

Time to catch up on personnals!

Wendy** Glad you made it to work o.k! And you got to leave early! Woo Hoo! Thats always nice! Yep, gonna enter my first race! Can you beleive it, I probably won't sleep. I have lots of time. Its not until the end of July. I guess I don't really need to train for it but I will have to practice my long runs with some hills.

Cathy** You had a snow day today? Yah! I was kinda of hoping that when I get off work tomorrow it will be snowing for some reason, I don't know why...doesn't make a dif, Im only going to bed:) Hope you enjoyed your day! Oh and I love Cashmere mafia! Comes on late so I have to record it but the past 2 weeks I have forgottenx(

Kristi** Hope DS feels better soon, its always so sad when they are sick! DS hasn't been sick yet, (knock on wood)

Christine** Are you and DH eating healthy together? Now, that would be a task in our house! LOL Im about the only one who eats healthy! DH didn't even eat his turnip last night...oh yes he did, but not before he dipped it in BBQ sauce!

Jackie** My legs are much better today! Thanks for asking! Good to know you are on the mend!!!

Carole** My SIL may do the race as well. She is had a baby in May so she as been getting back into it but her long run right now is only 5 miles so she has a little way to go but Im sure she can get there.

Dallas** NOw that sounds like a concert! I would love to see that!

Shelly** Oh...my bro would never let me beat him in a race! LOL He would probably trip me up! hehe He said right off the bat that he would do it but he may try to weazle his way out if something better comes along! LOL The race is in St.Johns NL (canada of course)

Lorie** Good job on the workout today! PLB was the day before so I had some DOMS before my run. Like I said, not the wisest thing I have ever done, but its done and over with now

There...I have caught up! Hope everyone as a great evening and I will BB tomorrow!
Lori:)

Hi Again!

I'm waiting for dinner to digest before I go do some ab work and stretching. I have to take ds to a b-day party. it doesn't start until 7P. Those little party animals. LOL!

Lori ~ That was some workout! Looks good! Wow! After your long run y-day?!!? Do you have legs of steel or something. }( Yeah, the concert is tomorrow night! It should be fun! We're going with several other couples. :)

Lorie ~ Way to go your run too!!! Glad the hip is doing better. :)

Wendy ~ So, P90X+ got you good, huh? }( Yes, we got to the stairs today. There were only 3-4 ppl (including myself and my friend) at any one time. I know when the weather changes it's going to get crowded again. Maybe I like it cold. ;-)

Christine ~ I ordered ABA when I did a preorder through Advanced Workouts. I thought I'd at least get ABA....ho hum. I can't wait to try it! So, you're not crazy about Bosu Blast? IA about getting used to Sharon's style. I never thought about that either "lack of fats' causing your hunger. I always have unsalted almonds in the car for a quick pick me up.

Shelly ~ Do you like HSTA better on the Bosu then HSC? I haven't tried it yet. **crossing fingers** for you that work is uneventful.

Jackie ~ So glad you're feeling better. You're playing it smart by taking a recovery week. Now remind me if I'm ever in your shoes. ;-)

Carole ~ How was your soggy run? When we do the stairs I'm ok if it starts raining/snowing if I'm already out there, but I chicken out if it's already coming down before we start. My neighbor has run in "white outs'! I didn't know you had a FB profile. Did I tell you my Freestyle book should be here any day?!? I finally ordered it. :) You could start Carole's Book Club. ;-)

Kristi ~ Your poor little guy! ;( I'll keep him in my prayers. ((((HUGS)))) to you.

Cathy ~ Did you enjoy your snow day? That makes for a nice long weekend. :) Let's hope that "twingy" thing doesn't turn into anything. ;-) Get a lot of work done today?

Wendi ~ Did you dig yourself out over there?

Where's Judy, Sunny, Linda, and Posh these days?

It's vewwwy, vewwwy quite these days......

Here I am Dallas!

I am checking in from a very snowy Deerfield, Mass. These people do not know how to handle snow! I am used to the roads being clear and salted continuously. To make matters worse, I took Dh's sedan and left my SUV home. I had to have DS and several of his team mates push my car up a hill. This was right before their second game of the day. (they won that game)

So the snow is major, as I mentioned, and there is no fitness room at the hotel. I will not be able to workout from Thursday through Sunday. I guess it is OK because this is a recovery week anyway. But I had hoped to at least walk on a treadmill.

Kristi- I am sorry about yur DS, poor baby! Please accept my ((hugs))!

Jackie- Hugs for you too with your GI issues!

Wendy- Yuk about driving to work for almost no need. IA about not working out and mindless nibbling ARGHHHHH!

Cathy- Hooray for your snowday! My Dad was in Jersey this past week visiting my DBrother. I am thankful he arrived back home before the snow. How did you spend your snow day?

Christine- IA with not enough good fat in your food choices and no meat, you can get very hungry. Nuts and avocados are good choices. Do you eat natural peanut butter also? I do but not every day.

Lori- good workouts the last two days! I like to do those varying speed runs on the TM for variety!

Lorrie- you are truly a fast Cheetah! Your hip is doing better! How is your stress level?

Wendi- did you hava nice day with SO? did you get your run in ?

Carole- Is your back better?

Dallas- Do you run the stairs? Are they in a safe place? An elliptical is nice for variety. I do recommend it, even if you only use it 2-4 times per month. (as I do)

Shelly- I have always appreciated a short comute. DH now is about 30" away and he hates it when he has to go in at night. TG for a fax machine to read EKG's @ night! Justthis past fall he got pulled over for seeding. He had to explain his emergency . (impending MI for crying out loud!) I thought he should have gotten an escort.

Being away has been hard to make good choices the last few days.
but I did pack a coler with V8, apples and some cut broccoli.

DS thinks our hotel is haunted. It is not the best hotel we have ever been in. No fitness room, No restaurant No BAR! Geez! but it is only 4 miles from the prep school where the tournament is being hosted. OK DS is watching TV let me check on him for a bit...
