Cathe,? amount of wt to add to see if I'm getting stronger?

Hi,
How much and how soon are we expected to add on with our lifting to see if we are progressing? Is there an average expected % ? So far only my bench press and squatting weight have improved, my shoulders and triceps are still the same.
 
Hi Rachel! When the weight that you are currently using presents only a slight challenge, it is time to increase your weight no more than one to two overall pounds for smaller muscle groups and 3 to 5 overall pounds for larger muscle groups. If after that increase you feel that you could have increased more, than do so, but again, in small increments. Good luck!
