Can't use Window's Media Player on my Mac

I have an iMac and I have tried and tried to use the Media Player. I have follwed the directions for a manuel connection. It didn't work. I am on AOL and a tech person there said Aol should have everything configured for me. Can I connect by proxy if I use AOL? AOL is TCP. http is different. Is there a computer whiz out there who can help? I am very frustrated by this. I have ordered DVD's so I have to wait til August or September for the workouts and I'd love to preview them but can't figure this out!

Not sure how much help I can be...

...but I'm using a Macintosh G4 and it works for me (although it freezes up my computer after a certain amount of time). I always have to use the manual connection on the Mac. Check which version you're using, make sure it's the newest version for Mac (6.3, I think). AOL shouldn't be the problem, though -- I was able to watch Friday evening's webcast at my parents' house, and they have AOL (however, they have a Gateway PC).
