    carrying ID when running?

Nan, I've been carrying my cell phone with me whenever I run. I bought a cell phone holder armband (made by Body Glove) and it not only holds my cell phone but also my ID, a car key (if need be) and always a tissue (because my nose always runs when I do!). It tooks a couple of runs to get...

    New to 4 Days...Question

I haven't been on the site in a few days, but I sure was glad to come back and find all of these posts! I was so annoyed with HIS, only to find LIS almost as difficult! I've been feeling a little disappointed for having chosen this as my 'big' birthday gift. I'm glad to hear that others find...

    New to 4 Days...Question

Thanks for the input Wendy and Irish196...your posts came at a good time! I tried the HIS workout yesterday and was sooo frustrated by it. I can't believe how poor the cueing is in this step routine! I knew it would be very tricky but this seems above and beyond anything that I can master...

    New to 4 Days...Question

Thanks, Catherine and Shana, for the info. 30 minutes sounds okay for the cardio. I think I'll probably do this rotation every-other-day with a run in between. I'm starting with the Kickbox workout because I feel most comfortable with that. I'm prepared for some frustration with the HIS...

Opinions on next circuit workout to purchase

I would definitely go for the Bootcamp/Muscle Endurance dvd...two great workouts on 1 dvd (of course you pay a bit more for it). If you could get another workout then I recommend LIC. This is a great low impact workout. If you're doing 3 days of cardio and 2 days of ciruits then you're...

    New to 4 Days...Question

Hi all, I just received 4 Day Split for my birthday (yeah!) and I intend on starting with the Kickbox workout tomorrow...was wondering if anyone had any comments or advice before I start this rotation (I'm a little worried about the HIS workout!)? Also...is there a breakdown of the 4 Days...

    Least Favorite Cathe Workout?

Tneah I'm with you on High Step Challenge...I just don't care for this workout. For me, it's because Cathe seems too serious... I prefer her (usual) smiley demeanor (it really pulls me through when she gets the giggles during a super tough segment). I hardly ever use this workout :(

    Fiddlehead Ferns!

    >I like them sauteed with a little olive oil and garlic. >They're good stuff! Gayle, This sounds simple and tasty! Do I have to boil the Fiddleheads first?

    Fiddlehead Ferns!

It's Fiddlehead Fern season in New England and I'm finally going to try them for the first time. Any recommendations for a quick, tasty, low-fat way to cook them? Thanks:9

    hot tea ???

Hi Sally, I haven't read any of the other replies so sorry if this is a repeat but you might want to check out some of the teas at the Republic of Tea (www.republicoftea.com). They have a huge variety of black, green, red and white teas. My personal favorite is Morrocan Mint Green Tea. Happy...

Favorite Full Body Weight Work out?

    >Yeah, another vote for PH. Could not live without this one. >It's simple, hits every body part, love the music, and time >just flies. Me too!! I really enjoy Power Hour. I like the faster pace/lighter weights used in this routine. Each muscle group is set to a different song and you...

So what are you reading now?

I'm reading Skinny Dip by Carl Hiaasen (it's just okay) and I have Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet waiting on my bedside table. I'll probably go for Animal, Vegetable, Miracle after that because I love Barbara Kingsolver and this will definitely inspire me to shop the Farmer's Market!

    Malapropisms

Laurie, When I was in college I had a part time job in a bank. One of my duties was to let people into their safe-deposit boxes. It used to drive me crazy when people called them [i]safety[/]deposit boxes (which wasn't correct...the original, correct term was "safe" deposit box). Now, I...
