I am so sore today from a workout I did on Saturday. My legs and butt are absolutely killing me. I'm following Cathe's Sept. '07 Circuit City rotation (a nice break from heavy lifting!) and today I'm supposed to do HSTA. Ugh. All those leg presses.

Is it ok to do that workout today even if I STILL can barely sit on the toilet because my butt hurts so much? (Ok, TMI, I know. Sorry....:p)Yesterday I just did a 4 mile flat run so loosen myself up, but it doesn't seem to have helped. Any ideas? THANKS!!! :)

OUCH! I'm having lower body issues today too! Is there an HSTA premix that excludes lower body? Like a Cardio and UB premix? I'd probably do that if I was as sore as you are.

I was thinking the same as Shelley. Or, possibly switch and do another workout that you are supposed to do later this week and do it today? Just an idea....wishing you speedy "comfy-toilet-sitting" SOOON! :7

One thing that always helps to alleviate my major DOMS is an elliptical workout. I assume a treadmill or ANY straight up cardio workout would do the same thing. My guess is that cardio heats up the muscles and helps them relax. I'm sure the increased circulation plays a roll in it, too.

I usually loosen up a few minutes into a workout if it still hurts after 48 hrs.
