The Strongest Girl I Know by Nora Wennerstrom

After

I found Cathe a little over a year ago but my journey began 10 years ago. Before and after the birth of my first son 10 years ago, I was 50 pounds overweight. The day my son was born, my world changed. I decided I would be a mother healthy enough to keep up with a little boy. Through walking and modified eating, I lost 50 punds by the time my son turned 1. I was able to maintain the weight loss through and bounce back after 2 additional pregnancies and the birth of my next 2 sons weight-wise, but my body just wasn’t the same.

Eight months after my youngest was born, my husband began a weight training rotation since he was out of shape. I decided to try exercising as a supplement to my eating and completed an exercise program that didn’t involve weights as I still wasn’t convinced lifting weights was for women. I decided to try a weight rotation program geared toward women, just to change things up. I found I loved weights! Trying to decide what I would do next after learning weight training was my love, I researched many programs on different forums and Cathe’s name was everywhere, so I knew I had to learn more. I found Cathe’s forum and read everything I could get my hands on regarding STS and I knew I had to try it.

I invested in the program as well as the equipment I needed because I knew with working full time and raising 3 boys, getting to the gym was not an option for me, but I still wanted the results. Day one of my new STS rotation was life-changing. I was hooked and I knew I this was what I had been looking for.

I have been using STS for a year now and it’s still the best program I have found. People always ask what I do to stay fit with everything else I have going on, and I always recommend STS.

  • Way to go! I am starting my fourth week of STS. Hope my arms end up looking like yours!!

  • Thanks Teresa and Catherine! STS really is great, Catherine, you will have AMAZING results! Good luck and I look forward to reading your STS results story on here as well : )

This got cut off of my submission, but I titled my story “The Strongest Girl I know” because my oldest son said to me one day after one of my workouts “Mom, you’re the strongest girl I know” , which sort of brought it full circle because he is who inspired me to change my lifestyle to begin with.

  • I’m so happy for you it is wounderfull. How long after your son born you start to do STS. I’m pregnant now and after my babe born I’m planing to buy. Thank you.

  • Thanks, Maritza, and congratulations on your pregnancy! I started STS when my youngest was 10 months old and the picture was taken seven months after I started the program. I probably would’ve started sooner had I found it before then. I still consider STS my best fitness purchase. Good luck!

  • Loved the comment from your son! That’s also one of my goals, to be a good example of healthy living for my kids. Thanks for sharing!

  • Starting Meso 2 after week of recovery. My arms are already toning up. Hope at the end they look like yours!

  • Thanks for the comment, Heather. The kiddies do learn loads from our actions : )
