zig zagging cals

I have been reading leanness lifestyle and i was wondering how many of you zig zag your cals during the week in order to fit in your treat meal at the end of the week? For those that do it, do you just pick 2 days and eat 300-400 cals less then your average intake? Are you super hungry on those days? If so how do you get through it? Sorry so many questions. So if my average intake is 1700, on my low cal days i would be taking in 1400 cals and then on my treat day i will be taking in no more than 2300-2400? Does this sound right?

Zig Zagging - It looks a bit different for each person... First determine your weekly caloric intake: 1700 x 7 = 11900 Thats what you dont want to go too far below or too far above

TRY some variations-
2-3 days in a row of low end calories followed by 1 day 30-40% higher then back to 2-3 days lower etc...

OR
Keep calories fairly consistent and zig zag nutrient intake.... High Lean Protein Day w/ lower starchy carbs (2-3 days in a row) vs Lean Protein w/ higher starchy carbs (1 day).

In my experience the higher calorie days are not meant to be anything more than higher CLEAN calories.... If you eat a day of junk food & sugars then it may not be effective. Thats how my body reacts anyway

I zig zag all the time, but only eating clean as much as possible.

It keeps my body guessing and in balance.

Try that freedieting site. I just started this myself to see if I can jumpstart more weightloss while I read my Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle again. Most days for me are around 1600 but yesterday was 1300 and I went to bed hungry and hated it...the only thing that got me through was knowing that today was 1800 calorie day.
