Just checking in to let everyone know I delivered after that long wait hahaha! Went into the hospital Monday night about 10:30 and delivered 8lb 12 oz Zak at 12:40 am Tues. He was in a hurry to get here! One push and there he was. Thought Cathe and Sheila might be interested to know that I made a concious effort to inhale and then exhale with the push. The nurse was trying to tell me to hold my breath when I pushed. I just ignored her and my doc (who delivered 4 of the other 5 )told her I knew what I was doing and to leave me alone. This is the first time I have ever knowingly used this method of pushing and did it work! It usually takes a good 3-4 pushes to get baby out. Boy were the dr and nurses surprised at how well it worked. So, thanks for the GREAT useful info!!! Now I am just cooling my jets anxiously awaiting those new tapes and the ability to get back to exercising with Cathe!
