Shelley, for the "Rip Your Heart Out" category a bunch of sunshiney sweet songs popped into my head. I'm making an appointment with a therapist this morning. ;) :p

I really can't stomach "mushy" love songs.

I guess the best thing I can come up with for this thread is "Bobcaygeon" by the Tragically Hip. It's not mushy, but it's got some great lyrics.

LOL .. I'm with Shelly .. can think of a ton of "pain" songs I love!!

.. does the song .. Sexual Healing ..count as a love song . ??? LOL that was mine and DH "song" .. LOL (yeah I know .. but hey it was the 80's)

I only had 4 before, so I'm adding another two songs by the same artist.

I'm not a Shania Twain fan, but I love two of her songs, From This Moment and You're Still the One.:)

These are just a few off the top of my head.

If you love the 80's hairband love songs, I have the Monster Ballads CD and I highly recommend this to you also! :)
