Recently i asked you a question about DOMS and doing a different series weekly.
Well, I have been on the gym styles for 2 weeks now and i am not aching every time i work out. I am going to try a 6 week per series(except slow n heavy).
So thank you...
One more ?
I had the dear gall bladder surg 2 months ago(laproscopic), and i am having a really hard time with ab exercises. I was up to core max all 3 programs no problem. Now i have to rest in the middle.

I can't seem to get my strength back in my abs. Any suggestions....
Anne

Hi Anne! So glad the suggestions worked for you and even happier to hear that your surgery is behind you now and you can focus on slowly getting back to your normal routine.

As for your ab question....my answer is give it time. This is of course after you have checked with your doctor and received FULL clearance to return to exercise, especially abdominal exercise. Let them know of the type of movements you are doing and the equipemnt being used. They may suggest to lay off the equipment for right now until you build your endurance up to complete the workouts without additional resistance.

Ask them about doing Kegel's too. I would think this would be good to build strength in your pelvic floor.

The body goes through quite a bit of stress during surgery. It wouldn't be fair to expect your body to jump right in where it left off before surgery. You have to take it in slow steps and work your way back to your pre-surgery strength. It will come in time....just be fair and give it that time :)
