Your music

Hi Jen! For my classes, I don't have a company preference. I only look for really good mixes. I just got Radio Hits #19 by Dynamix for step class and that is pretty good.

As for video, that is a much tougher question. Legally there is no way to use top artisits hits whether they are redone by generic singers or not, unless you follow a very long process and apply through an agency. It is also quite costly per song making it very difficult to use for video. So for video music, the selections are not always what I want but I make the best of what is available or hire a composer to make original music (ie: Power Hour, Rhythmic Step, and the Slow/Heavy Series).

Cathe,
just wanted to tell you how much I loved the music on Rhythmic step/Power Hour. Please, keep using the original compositions. So much better than tired top forty stuff.

Cathe, my husband thinks the lunge song on Power Hour is a Talking Heads song: "Men Make Great Pets." Not exact, he says, but close enough. The title cracks me up, and he always starts singing the song when I am doing the lunges, somewhat sabotaging my efforts, but also cheering me through the groans. He also hears "Who Let the Dogs Out" on one of the CTX series--although the lyric is barely discernible.

Lynda, that is too funny!

Does anyone know where you can get the Dynamix tapes? I found one site but it only had the old ones.

Ruth

Hey Tammy, thanks so much for the quick reply!

All I can say to myself is DUH! I tried dynamix.com but never thought of dynamixmusic.com. I also did a search & didn't find it...highly annoying!

Thanks again,
Ruth

Hi Ruth! For future reference you can also find Dynamix listed on our home page in the buyers guide section under music. Hmmmm, you know I just checked this out and found that every music company is linking to their site from this page but Dynamix. I'll see what the problem is. Take Care!
