"You On a Diet"

Is anyone else following this eating plan?

If so I'd love to hear your experience so far.

My family and I are getting used to it. I've lost 8 lbs so far. Five the first week (probably water) then 1 to 2 lbs the next couple of weeks.

It wasn't very hard dumping things in my kitchen that had all that extra "stuff" in it that only extended shelf life. The weight is coming off slowly, but at least it's coming off again.

I have counted endless calories and points in the past but wasn't having much luck. Now I'm looking at those same calories without the added "junk" (trans fats, hydrogenated stuff, etc) and am finally moving along.

Just wanted to find out what other's thoughts were on the subject.

Take care everyone:)

Carrie

RE:

Hey Carrie -

I have the book and am part way through it. In following the eating plan - does it start toward the end of the book? and can you give me some guidance as to what page????

I think for the most part our family eats pretty healthy, but cleaning up a bit certainly couldn't hurt.

Thanks
Dianne

RE:

The main part of the eating plan starts at Chapter 12. From there is gives you a step by step two week program to start, then shows you how to continue from there.

So far it's been really great. The family is eating all parts of the food groups in good proportions. My Dh thanked me today, after realizing he has lost a total of 14 lbs in three weeks.

But for awhile he didn't have much faith, and it was rough, but now he's like, "this isn't so bad, I actually feel pretty good, not so run-down"...

RE:

I am about a third of the way through. Interesting info. Have already read BFFM and Fat Flush.

I kinda do a combo of mostly clean eating - like the cranwater and flaxseed w/lemon water in the AM. Also the 5 - 6 meal plan.

Will be interested to see what the "diet" is and may just try it also.

Glad to hear it is doing so well for your entire family. Love DH's comment about feeling better. Most people don't realize what "junk" food really does to their entire body.

Great job :D
