<---did not get to sleep in on the last day of the long weekend
<---woke up to a remarkably pesky whippoorwill making a racket in a tree right outside the bedroom
<---was thinking about Sophie yelling at those birds
<---wanted to go throw rocks into the trees to chase it off
<---got up, made bed, etc., then the bird decided to leave once <--- was completely awake
<---thinks that bird has a very diabolical mind
<---tells Shelley yes, it's very hot here too - 90+ F, with high humidity near 80%
<---just checked the forecast, and there's actually a chance of rain! Yahoo!
<---is going to water the plants and bake some bread
<---power scissors out of thread
 
<---asks Shannon to send some of that fresh baked bread here
<---hasn't heard a whippoorwill for years
<---thinks hearing one would be worth losing some sleep
<---unless, of course, he was sitting in a tree outside the bedroom all night
<---has started out very busy here, but has fingers crossed that the work will come to a screeching halt and everyone goes on a picnic or to plant flowers instead of visiting the emergency room with their urinary tract infections

<---back to work station to try and clean things up

<---sees that Nancy visits family in Pocono's
<---tells Nancy that <---lives aboot 2 hours from Pocono's and maybe we could have a mini GTG some weekend when you visit

<---really misses working at home, but can't do it any more, what with all those layoffs, etc., at work

<-- made them caterpillar across three tennis courts today! <-- thinks it should have been only two courts, but we have three so there you go. (hands touch toes, knees straight. walk hands to plank, walk feet up to hands. walk hands out, then feet in, and repeat repeat repeat.)
