Does anyone have any recommendations for gentle yoga DVD's for back pain? Not for me, but for a friend who has lower back pain. Beginner stuff, she is not an exerciser.
Sparrow..I've been struggling with back, shoulder and hip pain for many years. It was getting pretty unbearable so I decided to start adding more yoga to my routine and it's helped a lot. I've been doing it about 3-4 times a week sometimes only 15-20 minutes a day and I can tell a difference..especially with my hip pain. The videos that I really like are both Rodney Yee:
Both of these videos are broken up into 15-20 minute workouts. The first one has 5 workouts the second has 4 and they're all wonderful. I've noticed a big improvement in my flexibility..my kickboxing kicks have gotten much higher too! HTH!
