Yikes!

I guess I was overly ambitious when I decided to take on Power Hour three times per week. I was doing fine with it (for the whole one week I've been on this new rotation ;-) ), but it caught up with me on Monday during my interval workout:
I did PH twice last week, and then the squats, lunges, chest and back from it on Sunday. Monday I took my rest day, and then did Step and Intervals with the intention of adding on 3 or 4 intervals from Imax or MIC. NOOOO WAAAY! I have never felt the fatigue in my legs that I did yesterday during this interval workout. I got through SNI and HAD to quit. It was a weird sensation--my legs were just sooooo tired, like nothing I've ever felt before... I didn't feel this sneaking up on me--never felt sore after PH, and didn't feel tired doing that third leg day on Sunday. Looking back though, I think I have been working my legs only once per week for the past several months. I think I'll be re-plotting my rotation. Power Hour 2x/week seems like it will be just fine!
Just gabbing :)

Oh oh....Starting this week I was doing a 3x per week PH too! Friday will be my third day. Hmmmm...might have to rethink that plan. Thanks for the heads up! :)

I'm on my 3rd week of S&H & plan on switching to Power Hour next week. Was still thinking about how often & whether to alternate w/ another workout like MIS. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm doing MIS, Power Hour, and CIA PowerBar this week as my 3 days of weight training because I figured I would get bored with doing Power Hour 3 times a week. I did Power Hour yesterday and my legs are okay but my triceps are sore! In fact, I was planning on doing Cardio Kicks this morning but when I woke up and could still feel soreness in my triceps, decided to alter the plan. (I was get very sore in the upper body after kicboxing.)

I think I'll benefit from the leg workout 3 times a week vs. 1 time a week like I've been doing for awhile. Already my legs feel tighter and look more defined and I know it's not because of my diet because that's been pretty much the same (unfortunately). Oh, well, I try.
