I guess I was overly ambitious when I decided to take on Power Hour three times per week. I was doing fine with it (for the whole one week I've been on this new rotation ;-) ), but it caught up with me on Monday during my interval workout:
I did PH twice last week, and then the squats, lunges, chest and back from it on Sunday. Monday I took my rest day, and then did Step and Intervals with the intention of adding on 3 or 4 intervals from Imax or MIC. NOOOO WAAAY! I have never felt the fatigue in my legs that I did yesterday during this interval workout. I got through SNI and HAD to quit. It was a weird sensation--my legs were just sooooo tired, like nothing I've ever felt before... I didn't feel this sneaking up on me--never felt sore after PH, and didn't feel tired doing that third leg day on Sunday. Looking back though, I think I have been working my legs only once per week for the past several months. I think I'll be re-plotting my rotation. Power Hour 2x/week seems like it will be just fine!
Just gabbing
