YAY!!! SCHOOL!!!

just had to say YAY!!! back to school today. i have to go back to work too,unfortunately. but it will be nice to be out of this house and viola back on a routine. i hope we have a good class of freshman at school this year, and hopefully more teachers who want to be involved what i saw last year disgusted me and made me wonder if i even wanted to keep working for the school,but a fresh start for the new year.

Oh man, I have mixed emotions about today. Today is the first day that I have been without my kids since they were born. My daughter started Kindergarden and my son started Pre-K both at the same elementary school and full day. I was happy at first like yeah I get some time to myself and get to run errands by myself for once, but then I got sad thinking I don't have babies anymore. I dropped them off and I cried the whole way home and in the house for a few minutes. Then I popped in Pyramid Upper Body and took out my sadness in a good way!!! I am happy they are getting older and get to experience more, I am just sad too that I don't have babies anymore. I hope things go well for your daughter. And have fun at work!!!

My kids went back last Thursday. I am so happy that I worked out and took 2 power naps. The bad thing is crackin' whip homework and chores. Oh well can't have it all,

oh that is going to be hard for a little while here as well. but so far my day went pretty well other then the bus was late but dh was home to put her on the bus so i wasn't late for work. she loves the routine of school but wants to just hang when she gets home,so homework is always a pain.

pippa, yeah i went to school in NJ, they like to go back after labor day. especially at the shore where i lived b/c they wanted to squeeze those last few tourist dollars and most of us school kids worked up there LOL!! but they get out later i believe. i know i graduated few days before my b-day but down here our last day was the 14th for exams and graduation.

My twins don't go back to school as they graduated in June. Both are heading to community college and staying at home driving me nuts!

My son is autistic and not ready for "prime time" yet so just the fact he's heading to college is HUGE to us.

My daughter is at a threshold level in competitive figure skating and might even progress into the national/world level so she's taking a lighter school schedule to focus on her sport.

All you parents enjoying the first day of school.. enjoy for me too.

Those parents with the kids leaving for the very first day... a big hug to you!
