Xmas tipping questions

OK maybe someone can help me out here. I don't tip my postal carrier b/c she dumps all my mail on the floor of my porch instead of putting in my mailbox. But I would like to tip my UPS & Fedex carriers--their service is great.

So how do I do this? Where would I leave it? How much should I give? Or should I just give a bottle of wine? Any advice would be appreciated......

Maximus--

If you know the name of your delivery person, you could drop off the gift to the your local Fed Exp/UPS office and have them give it to that person.

Or, leave a note on your door on a day that you are expecting a package and tell them you have something you would like to give them and would like to know where you could mail it/drop it off.

As far as mailing something to them, you might want to check if shipping wine is legal in NJ ( I think I remember reading in one of your other posts that is where you live?) Some states have issues w/ that.
