Hi everyone,
Had a good day today. Went to work for a couple of hours, but went home as they were laying carpet and I couldn't get anything done. I took the time to do some much needed housework, then went back to work around 1:00. Did a short bike ride (7 miles total) over to my parents house after work and visited with them and my Grandma.
Cheryl, your birthday Mexican dinner sounded really nice. I love chicken fajitas too. Hope working your legs wasn't too bad today. I actually would rather do floor work than weighted work. I get so bored of squats.
Nicole, golf went okay, but I'm hoping for better at tomorrow's class. I practiced the swing a bit today when I was home today. I need to feel the club doing more of the work than my arms, which I know is a problem. That gal was askeered of me I'm sure. I never saw much of her yesterday. Hope your cold is on the mend. Are you crazy, making the compendium? I wish I had your drive. I used to write my own rotations, now I'd rather just do something already planned by someone else. Forget Imax2 if you're not feeling well. How about something a lot easier? I'd be picking a Christi Taylor workout myself. May do that anyway tomorrow.
Tracy, so sorry you are so pushed timewise. I too have had my thoughts go to the what ifs when I'm going fast down a hill on my bike. I try not to think of it. Hope you get some good sleep tonite.
Wendy, if you don't do a full round of the X, that's okay with me. I take my hat off to you for starting it. I haven't even had an inkling to do that yet. Was Phil impressed with your chinups? My DH would be as I never even attempted one during the X. Not even 1!!! What are you going to do for your DD coffee fix while in Thailand? I'm definitely worried about you in that department. They don't have a ground over the counter version do they? Your trip sounds so exciting and the part about it being meant to be, well I know the feeling. The cheesecake is all gone now, thank goodness. I had one piece and that was it. Really good on my part. Just glad they cleaned it all up before I could go back for 2nds. I'm glad the shin is all better too. Have no idea what was going on with it, and boy did it swell every day.
Sandra, you are getting in some good workouts. MIC hi-lo? I'd rather be beat!! Really, I like it until the higher impact stuff starts. I can't wait to see the cake pictures!!!
Amy, your dinner last night sounds yummy! I'm so proud of you for doing well on your eating and loss of inches!
Swifty, oh my gosh, you poor thing! That's awful that you fell. Know you will be hurtin for certain tomorrow. I've almost hit squirrels before and I have run over snakes on the road. A woodchuck, now that's a big object. So glad you had your helmet on. How fast were you going when you hit him? (((Hugs))) and healing vibes out to you.
Lea, glad you could pop in here. I think I remember you having trouble last year with your elbow. Are you saying that tennis elbow is a pesky injury, one that doesn't want to go away quickly? I think I have a bit of it, but only bothers me when I put it in certain positions, most of which are easy to modify.
Debra, hope those butt-talks are okay tomorrow. Glad you didn't get hurt any worse. If I remember right, during the X last year, you injured yourself more than once. Dang it, you too with TTOM? Freaky, I say. What kind of busy day do you have planned for tomorrow? When I see your Meez, I wonder if you are planning on getting a tattoo. Yes?
Got to run now, hope everyone sleeps well tonite
Jeanette
