Hello,
Had a busy day at work today again. Tomorrow I get to go up to one of the conservation camps north of our area. It's a 100 man prison camp, but most of the fellas are still down mopping up the fires near Nicole's area. Today was my golf class, but it was not one of my better days. Next one will be better for sure... Hoping to get out on the bike tomorrow after work for a spin. Time change comes this weekend and then there will be no way I can get an outdoor bike ride in.
Latrese, not sure when the paperwork will be completed on my job pay upgrade. The Warden comes back in 2 weeks so the other 3 gals and myself that are involved in getting pay upgrades will go in and chat with her to make it go as easily and quickly as possible. You are so good at thinking up the routines. I used to think and write a lot about them. Now I just wait for someone else to do it for me. I know, I'm a slacker
Wendy, thanks for the info on the laptop. You are so knowledgeable about so many things. When do we get to see pictures of your kitchen? Is it finished? Wow, you have really researched this trip. Are you getting more and more excited? I know you will have a fabulouso time! Will you be meeting lots of relatives? My folks went to the Azores last year for 3 weeks and had a wonderful, wonderful time. I'm sure they want to go back. I think Dad fantasizes about moving there.
Sandra, here is the link to Video Fitness and they are still very, very active: http://forum.videofitness.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3
I can just picture your DD and the poop. My GD has done that too. Nasty. Whew! Glad I'm off the hook for doing P90X just yet. Maybe later. My right elbow is still not good for heavy weights and I don't think all the pushups or lat pulldowns would be good for it either. Have fun previewing the new workouts. I did enjoy Bootcamp. Kickbox is probably my least favorite, but may do it tomorrow.
Nicole, I know that weight will come right off. Dang that Halloween candy hanging around. DH put it out in the garage so it would stay cool, but it's so tempting... So happy that you could do a workout today. What is the diagnosis of your injury?
Swifty, sorry about the dr. appointment being cancelled. Hope you don't have to wait too long for another one. How was the haircut? I love going in and getting pampered and primped on.
Tracy, thanks for the congrats. I'm pretty pleased. Hope you start to like the step better. I really enjoy Christi's cueing and Tracey Staehle's workouts are enjoyable too. With anyone of them, after about 35 minutes, I start to get numbness and tingling on the bottom of my left foot. Happens with any of the step or hi-lo workouts. Maybe the nerves are just too close to the bottom of my foot or something.
Cheryl, sorry about your running partner's bad back. Do you run outside or on a treadmill? I really don't like tuck jumps, plyo type stuff, but especially hate tuck jumps. Pleased that there are none of those in the new step workouts. Some fun moves for sure. I was nice and sweaty this morning.
Got to go now, will be up working out an hour earlier as I have to be at work at 7 instead of 7:45. Hope to be home earlier and able to ride my bike afterwards.
Jeanette
