Xers .........................Monday

Hi there ladies...Just checking in to see how everyone's day has been. I ended up doing yoga today...Just wasn't in the mood for anything else. I didn't sleep will last night and was just beat today. I will either do an upper body split tomorrow or a circuit. I am planning on getting out on my bike on Wednesday. I have a busy week planned....tomorrow I have a much needed pedicure plus a chimney sweep coming to take a look at our chimney for the inspection, then Wednesday I have a dentist appointment and DD has a playdate at our house in the afternoon...plus a party for the dog that lives behind us (it's his birthday) then Thursday DD has gymnastics plus a covered dish dinner at her school...and then Friday we leave early in the morn to head to NC for out house hunting trip...So, if I am out of pocket a couple of days...I'll do my best to catch up.

Swifty...Glad you are enjoying the X so far. WooHoo on the unassisted pull ups! Wonderful job! It's good you did a few of the vids before you got really started so that you would know what to expect.

Teddygirl...I am sure you will do better with your eating tomorrow. Glad to hear your sister is doing better. Lupus is such a horrible disease...it's a shame it hits people so young. Thanks for the compliments on DD...We kind of like her, too!

Nicole...Your boys are precious! Glad they had fun with the snow. Hike looks like a great trip.

Sandra...Hope things went well at the dentist. I AM surprised that you didn't think of gassing her earlier...LOL! Glad you enjoyed your Hardcore today. I have TMJ, too...although it really just affects my jaw. I had a fall when I was younger...and never been right since! Looks like we will be gone at the same time. Will you have computer access while you are away?

Wendy...My DD is a drama queen too! We actually did kiss her booty when she had an ouchie! She is still such a crybaby when it comes to getting hurt...you would think she had broken a bone when she takes a slight tumble. This weekend she fell while on her new bike and she told my mom about it later. She said that she fell and hurt her knee. My mom asked where she fell. And DD said on the grass...so mom says, well, it's pretty soft to land on the grass. And DD says...and I quote, "You don't understand, I fell and hurt my knee!" Good gracious! Hope you have fun with yoga tonight...and of course, with CS tomorrow!

Okay...I think that's it for now...Will see you guys in the late morning...I have my pedi first thing.

Good beautiful evening,

Busy day at work, but I did get my climbing bike ride in after work. Think it was 29 miles. Mostly uphill for the first half of it, then turned around and down for the rest. Made good time. For the 2 days before the hill climb competition, I'll spin out my legs a bit and do some step or something to get any lactic out of them.

Lea, miss your posts so much. Thanks again for ordering the shirts. Can't wait to get mine, though I'm not an Xer right now. I will be again some day.

Debra, I still can't get over that we have the same mtn. bike models! Mine is a 24 speed also. My road bike is a Trek carbon fiber bike. You have a very busy week ahead of you, but a good one! House hunting will be so much fun! Your DD's comment to your mother was so funny! Seems like kids are so much more grown up and have larger vocabularies than when I was young. My vocabulary was more like, "See Spot. See Spot run."

Teddygirl, what is WPP and whipped PP? I was burning with CTX today. So good that your sister was released! My thoughts are with her.

Wendy, I think I took my pictures on my Recovery Weeks because that was when I would deflate (the magic of P90X). Heck, no one knows if it's 30 days or 25 days. Seriously, I did notice a lack of puffiness during the Recovery Weeks and I got to looking forward to them. When I do a horse stance, my toes point out, just like my knees. I too feel pretty blessed to have a wonderful husband. It wasn't always wonderful though. There was a rough patch.

Nicole, glad your weekend was good. Hiking is fun, need to do more of it.

Sandra, my body is just lopsided. Really made it more difficult when I was riding dressage. I always had my right shoulder lower than my left. Heck my ribcage is uneven from the front. A real mess, but everything works okay. Did not like the feeling of my jaw being so tight. Not fun. Today is is all okay. Hope the dentist appointment went well today. Good you could get in so soon. What did they do to it? Sure there will be a followup visit or 2.

Swifty, for sure you have to have a certain mindset for the X. I found out how strong I could really be mentally. Loved it. Crunchy frogs always started out burning but got better the more of them I did.

Oh yeah, I didn't finish watching Casino Royale but DH did. I had to get to bed. Daniel Craig is yummy, that's all I can say. When he comes out of the water, oooh la la!

Good evening anyone who's still awake!

Please rejoice with me! As most of you know, my twins were born really early. I wouldn't say that they have learning disablities. They learn great when they are developmentally ready for the task at hand. Anyhow, I was getting discouraged because their reading and spelling is going at a snail's pace compared to their older sister. I know I shouldn't compare. Anyways... Today, I gave them their first diagnostic spelling test and they scored right at grade level!!!!

Also, since their haircuts, their self esteem has shot through the roof! They are very shy, quiet girls, especially Waverly. They would rather suffer in silence till death rather than bring attention to themselves. They're quite the opposite of their older, dramatic, outgoing, social butterfly of a sister. Well, Waves has been talking up a storm and initiating conversations since Friday. Normally she stays inside instead of playing with the neighborhood kids. No more! She can't wait to go outside with her older sister and talk to everyone. It's like watching a flower bloom! I get all teary eyed when I think of her coming out of her shell.

Now onto me! ;-) Why did I wait till now to do X-stretch. It felt so good, I didn't do Yoga today; opted for a nap instead. There's always tomorrow. I'll most likely do it all since guilt pushes me harder. It'll give me another day before I do CS too. }( CS can be my rest day w/o.

I guess y'all are right AGAIN. No one came out and suggested OCD counseling, so I'll be nice and give y'all the link to my progress pictures when I get them taken and uploaded.

Taking Debra's lead, here's my week's schedule:

Tomorrow morning I'll be driving to a homeschool supply store in Harrisburg. YogaX to follow.

Wednesday, I'll be pumping myself up to do another round with CS.

Thursday's art lesson.

Friday is a NEW phase. Or is it Thursday since I already took a rest day this week?

And Saturday, pray for me. It's our annual Bible Club field trip for all the memory verse winners. This means I have to wake up EARLY(!) for a LONG, BUMPY, COLD bus ride to the Philadelphia Zoo where I will be walking to failure, interspered with a few high impact intensity runs chasing down a wayward child. All so I can get back onto a sock smelly COLD bus for a ballistic stretch ride back home. I'm getting a thermos full of DDcoffee to carry along! OH! And did I mention, I'm silently, but highly encouraged to wear a DRESS or SKIRT! I am a feminine leader!!! Yes, I'm well aware that sneakers and dresses are a fashion no-no! The only sensible shoes I own are sneakers. Looks like I'll have to invest in a cute pair of sensible shoes. Isn't that an oxymoron?

Thanks for letting me vent. Deep breath. Channeling a sober, younger Whitney Houston singing about the children are our future. It's for the children.

Jeanette-X: LOL re: See Spot Run. My oldest dd takes after my father (IQ of a genuis!). When she was four years old, she had a handful of printed arcade tickets from our weeklong shore vacation. Towards the end of vacation, she told her father, "Daddy, I need to go to the arcade today and settle my account." Dh just looked at me as if I had anything to do it. I was just as baffled! Let me just say that I can't even beging to imagine cycling like you do. Here I am complaining about walking at the zoo and you're VOLUNTARILY climbing hills! If your conditioned body suffers from any lactic acid, your wonderful husband can give you a deep pressure leg massage to help flush it out. ;-) You have to be careful if you go this route with any lactic acid buildup in the glute area. It might induce another exercise! }( BTW, Phil said the same thing about the pics. He thinks it's funny how bothered I am with the whole 90-84 days difference. I'm with you about my dh not always being wonderful. OTOH, I don't think he'd consider me a wonderful wife during our entire marriage. After our twins were born, we had our share of not so wonderful moments. In the end, the stress brought us closer together. It wasn't so with his one buddy. His friend and wife got divorced after their baby was born at 24 weeks too. Their little girl had a lot more long lasting, serious mental and health complications resulting from her prematurity than our twins.

Debra-X: Since you did Yoga, can we say it was the both of us? ;-) Oh! It's pedicure season already? Are you getting a french manicure for both of us too. ;-) Looks like you have a busy week scheduled. Try to get plenty of rest! You're such a nuturing mother! I couldn't bring myself to kiss my dd's behind! I'm cold that way! Do you ever feel sorry for your dd's future dh? I do! :7 Poor man won't know what he's in for! Hopefully, dd will find a husband just like her dad.

Sandra-X: Let me get this straight. You did Hardcore Extreme AND all of LowMax? Back to Back? And you were planning on adding on a pilates ab? I'm NEVER doing doubles!!! Is Hardcore Extreme #2 a Cathe workout? Thanks for the progress pic tips. You can rest assured that I will break any camera and/or camera man that tries to shoot me during PMS. I'll try to get pics taken tomorrow or Wednesday morning. OH! I did have Phil take a picture of my behind wearing only a thong. I wanted to see what my tush looked like without shorts or bikini bottoms digging into my flesh. OH MY WORD! How come dh NEVER told me it looked like that!!! Talk about a clean eating scare tactic!!! It was an eye opener to say the least. And, NO, I will not be posting that one with my progress pics! LOL Don't even ask! :p

Teddygirl: Come on! Do Yoga with me! It's not soo bad. It's only 90 minutes LONG. ;-) Gosh, I'm jealous you're not as OCD or guilt ridden as I am. Glad to hear your sister came home. I've been keeping you in my prayers. Did you get your biopsy results back yet? Apparently, you're doing something right with your eating if you've already lost 3 pounds. I might be the only one here whose before picture looks better than their after picture.

Nicole: You have a very handsome family. Your husband is probably right. Mine should encourage me to get off the computer and do something more productive around the house, like finishing reupholstering the settee. I thought about using the bands instead of assisted, modified pull-ups. But, I'm too lazy to hook up the bands. ;-)

Swift Amy: I have to ask, Do you feel that the X is too easy? Girl, you must be strong to be able to do FIVE unassisted pull-ups!

Where is my ARX loving JESS?? Yooo-Hooo! JESS? How are you and your dh doing with the X? Still doing two Plyos in a day?

I think my novels might have scared away debfer.

Laurie-X: Did you drown in your coffee? ;-) Hope you got everything you needed to accomplish accomplished!

Well, it's one in the morning. Shouldn't have taken that nap this afternoon! Traci-X, did you like my novel? Oh! Did you check out my picturetrail yet? We've credited one of Tayler's art pieces to ya. Now get back to work! ;-)

Sweet Dreams!
Wendy
