Well, the planets must certainly be out of alignment if I am starting this thread!! Hope all you you Road Trippers are having a fabulous time...and are able to keep up in class! I am still planning on doing GS B&B today...although, I am pretty tired, so I may take a rest day to just kind of recuperate. We'll see how I'm feeling later on.

I think I caught up with personals yesterday except for....

Nicole....Sorry to hear your back is not well again. Hope the chiro is able to help. BM2 is a toughie. I am sure you will enjoy the CTX series...I use that one so often...either for abs or weights or for short cardio...And the leg routine on that one is great also. I actually have no idea when DH is coming home again...We're going through a pretty tough time right now and I am not sure what is going to happen from here. What is your workout today?

Okay...I better hop in the shower....Hope to see some of you other wonderful ladies later this morning when you get your lazy bottoms out of bed!

Good Morning

DebraX: Not too worry the planet is still in alignment :) I got me some good ole rest last night, yep! Boy do I have lots of errands to run today and my grand son is having a BP at Chucky Cheese, I can't miss that, he's turning 4 today. Enjoy GS that's a goodie:):)

So far did hour jog, just finished eating my breakfast, 3 slices of turkey bacon w/3 egg whites, cheese and nibbling on watermelon.

My plan is to do P90X C&B I'll see how it goes, but I do feel much stronger today my strength is returning slowly, okay by me. Have a wonderful morning check back a little later.:9

Good morning Debra! Is it just you and I today?

Today feels weird. The stress of finishing the report is gone, and it feel wonderful. I was up until 1am last night. Personally I don't think it's a good idea to email people a report you've just drafted at 1am when your brain is so tired you can'te even type your name. But c'est la vie. I wanted to put a disclaimer on the front cover that I'm not responsible for the contents due to extreme fatigue. Ah, but that's all behind me now. I tell you I thought I was hallucinating when I looked at the blog and saw the info on the Workout Blender Software. Words cannot express how excited I am about that!!!!!! Oh, the mishes we can mosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't haul my butt out of bed until 8am today. That's the latest I've slept in an extremely long time. It feels like the day's half over already. I don't know how you do it, DebraX ;)

My plans for the day are vague:

Do HardCore Extreme hi/lo intervals;
Do some Shiva Rea yoga;
Figure out how to use my new ipod, and how to download a CC to DD's Shuffle.
Maybe make bread (might do that tomorrow)
wash a couple loads of bath towels
clean the ensuite bathroom
help DD tidy up her room (could be a multiple day project)
play Scrabble with DD when the toddler naps
shop for patio furniture
watch a movie with DH tonight (Little Miss Sunshine!).

Hm. That seems like alot on a day that's already half over.

DebraX - so you're thinking of doing a rotation similar to mine, huh? I always love company! My first week felt surprisingly tough. DOMS everywhere. That's what you get when you don't lift heavy for a while. This week I'll simply repeat the weight work, change the cardio for variety, and keep up with the yoga. It all seems to be working very well. Do you mind if I pry a little and ask about the nature of your discord with DH? I'm just curious as to what could keep changing, when you guys are so far apart? Is the distance causing the problem? Or are you just not feeling the love anymore? Or is there something else going on? Of course, this is all personal and I understand if you'd rather not discuss it. I do hope you the best, though.

The CTX Series: NicoleX I don't think you'll regret buying it. It's extremely versatile. The All-Step workout is my no-brainer workout when I just want a hit of good cardio without huge intensity. The choreography is complex initially, but when you pick it up, it's excellent. Step & Intervals is my second favourite cardio from the series. The other 3 cardios are about 6/10s in my book. I just don't really like her kickboxing and hi/lo styles at that time - think mini-versions of Cardio Kicks (Kickbox) and Circuit Max (10-10-10), and the step blast/leg section of BodyMax (Power Circuit). I've more than gotten my use out of them, but I don't reach for them very often any more. CTX Upper Body is excellent. Excellent, excellent, excellent. And Leaner Legs is an outstanding lower body endurance workout. It's not as "fun" as BG, but is not nicknamed Meaner Legs for nothing! The dvds are chaptered very well, so you can put together a very long cardio session from the different workouts. As usual, she put the kickboxing and leg workout on the same dvd. If you do the Kickbox cardio session (including the arm drills), and Leaner Legs, you will get a one hour total body workout. If you want to do crunches ad nauseum, she puts all 4 ab segments together for about a 40 min workout (the boredom would kill me). The plank work in these ab segments is tough, and effective.

Okay, I'm off to get my day started. We have sunshine today, after almost a whole week of overcast and rainy. Looks wonderful. I should make an effort to get outside. Does that mean I have to get dressed?

I want to bake a cake.

Cheers,
SandraX

Anointed,

You snuck in on me! I'm glad to read you're feeling so much better. You have quite the day planned. Have fun at chuck e cheese!

Good Morning Little Group!

On tap:

MM "Timesaver" Premix (56 min)

So happy to be doing weights today. I realized there's not enough of it in this rotation. I'm editing the last week to get more strength workouts in. There is only one day on the rotation as is. Not enough for a mesomorph like me:) I am going to do a GS, S&H and PS rotation next month. I am writing the rest of it out today. Must get yoga in later today!

Love, love the news on the blog!! How exciting to mish mosh without a multi-disk DVD player! I wish I had been there to see it in person:)

DebraX, Way to start the thread!! I knew if I did it we were in trouble!LOL! Glad to hear I made a good choice purchasing CTX. I am so excited to be able to do all of the rotations I want:D Sorry to hear things aren't going to well with DH. I know it has to be tough to have him gone so much. It makes it hard to work things out. It's nice to have a body there to slug or kiss:D Anyway, I didn't want to pry just to listen and let you know I care and hope you are doing ok.

SandraX, Yeah!!!! Report off. Life resumes:D Now you can warm-up om us before all of the girls return. Sounds like a nice day today. Mine looks much the same. I am not making bread but I did make pizza last night. I make the BEST crust and it's soooo bad for you. I think I have gained 10 lbs. over the last month and I'm not exaggerating! I am Hypothyroid and it stinks! If I don't watch it 100% of the time the weight piles on fast. Sometimes life's too short and I lapse. I'll get back on track soon, I hope:p

LaurieXX, We beat you to the boards! Hope you have lots of fun things planned for today:)

Annointed, Glad you were able to get good sleep last night. Have a fun time at your GS's BDay party! I haven't been to CC in a long time:)

JeanetteX, Good Morning!!

Traci-X, If you're out there, I saw your website and it looks great! Is that your secret project you've been working on? Come back soon! {{{{HUGS}}}}

I'll be back to check-in again later,

Nicole

Back again sweet ladies...Went to pick up DD from my mom's house, and then we went to lunch. I am thinking I will take a little nap and then I will be up to GS. Thanks so much for all of your concern about DH...we have been having problems for a while...and it's pretty much impossible to work on a relationship across the globe...Thanks for your support.

Nicole...Post your new rotation once you get it done...Would love to see what you are planning. Hope you enjoy MM today. I always like that one...It's tough, though! I need more weight work, too...can't do cardio all the time...it just doesn't work for me anymore. It was definitely the way to go when I was first losing weight, but now that I am down to my goal weight, I really just want to work on creating more lean muscle...and cardio just doesn't do that for me.

Teddygirl...Have fun with your DGS at Chuck's today! It is so loud in there...and the pizza is terrible, but the kids love it! Have a salad...that usually works for me. Good luck on getting in C&B...but don't over do it...Your body has been through a trauma and you have to give it time to heal. Glad you are feeling better.

Sandra...WooHoo!! Report is done! I'm sure it will be well received. Keep in mind, dear, I normally don't go to bed until way after 11...so 8 is pretty early! I'm glad you got to sleep in, though...I'm sure you needed it after working on your project all week. I have to get at least 8 hours in or I am just like a cranky toddler. What kind of cake are you baking me today?? Chocolate I hope! I had my DD clean up her room yesterday...and it took her 2 hours...of course, she was listening to music while she was doing it...so I imagine there was more dancing and singing than cleaning. Have fun playing with your ipod...now that I have an MP3 player, I don't know how I did without it. Are you going to dance to "SuperFreak" tonight??

Okay...really have to go and get that nap in...was out a little too late last night. Ooops!
