Hi Ladies,

I didn't see our thread which means Wendy must be working today. Well I had a great workout last night in my class. We did 12:30 minutes on either the elliptical or treadmill, changing the speed and incline throughout. Then we moved on to walking lunges around the track, leg conditioning work and abs. Then we did it all over again switching the cardio and conditioning exercises.

I slept in and have a meeting this morning so I'm not working out. I plan on taking the Butts & Guts class at the rec ctr at lunch. My legs are finally feeling almost normal and I'm going to torture them again.

I'll bbl to see what everyone else is up to.

Yes, fabulous Friday ! Hey chickadees !

Well I just finished my GS C&T and am having a hard time lifting my arms to the keyboard heighth ! YOWZA ! I went a bit heavier than usual for me and then there were 3 sets !:eek:

So looking forward to having a weekend as I am being assigned project or research by the day at work !:mad: Never to catch up on my regular 'stuff'.

Diana - I believe I remember Wendy mentioning working today. Hope you enjoy your B&G today. Funny I seem to find that as soon as I am done with DOMS there is another workout that 'revives' the soreness. I guess the ol' muscles are working hard like they are supposed to be doing, huh?

Hello Ladies ..

man I thought I was late getting here .... everyone is late today! I ended up doing 1/2 super step and 1/2 power yoga!! confession time :eek: I obviously have been skimping on the yoga .. b/c it was TOUGH .. my legs were on fire due to the MON and TUE torture and my shoulders are DOMing today :eek: NOTE TO SELF: more yoga .. more yoga!!!:)

Di .. I almost fainted when I ready "no w/o for me today" .. then you write you are gonna do B&G later .. :confused: .. ok ... B&G is a killer w/o (all the w/o I need in a given day .. LOL) ... you have been hitting the legs hard this week huh??

Jacque .. I am looking forward to the weekend too .. DH is on nights .. so that will give me plenty of time to do some cleanmax and get ready for turkey day!!! :)

Hello to all that follow .. I am not sure what w/o I will get in today .. if any .. town is insane .. and work is worse .. and DH on nights so I really need to get home and cook .. so may have to do EXTRA tommorrow while he is sleeping!!!

I canceled class ALL NEXT WEEK :eek:.. pick yourself up off the floor :p .. I never do this and I just feel I need it .. my friend that had cancer is coming home this weekend .. and I want to spend some time w/her after work (b-4 turkey day) ... and I am really kinda burned out a bit ... I am SICK of step .. and really want to find something inspiring and new :confused: .. ahh I may just need some time off from the rat race!!

that .. and there are some unsavory sorts "hanging out" in the parking lot at the gym .. and my car got damaged a couple of times .. and last night I found both my mirrors turned into my car ???? so either someone was testing to see if I had a car alarm .. or they were setting me up to stop down the road and get out to fix it and nab/rob me .. ?? I dont know but it was unsettling ... w/my brother in his line of work (he is the county Sheriff) .. he has been busting @$$ on drugs in the county .. it just worries me and yes .. I may be over reacting .. but I was FREAKED out last night!

Anywho .. I hope everyone has a wonderful TGIF ... get some wonderful w/o's in .. and still hoping the crud bugs stay away from me (woke up w/a sore tonsil .. downing airborne still though) ... Will try to BBL to see what everyone is up to!!!:D
 
Hi Girls.

Yeah, I worked today but that's not why I didn't start the thread. I was just too lazy to do it this morning. :p I slept in and everything. :D

I worked out when I got home this afternoon though. I did two 20 min full body kettlebell work outs from a KB vid I bought ages ago and never tried. I also did B&G ankle weight work and BBC's standing ab work with hottie..er..I mean Joey! ;):) The original plan for today was B&G's floor and ab premix. Don't know what caused me to change that up but I'm not worried about it! :p I'm thinkin' some DOMS will be an order for me in the morning. :)

Laura: Good for you-giving yourself a week's break from teaching. If you need it then take it. We know you'll work out for yourself in that time so no worries there! Enjoy the time you spend with your friend with cancer. I hope she is doing okay. If you are looking for new material for your class, why not do a bootcamp style work out? That would be different and fun.

Jacque: Yah, if you go really heavy that 3rd set can be KILLER!!! I've barely made it through myself several times!:eek: Sorry about the research project at work. Your job sounds like it frustrates you alot. (((hugs)))

Diana: Hope you made it to and enjoyed your B&G class. Way to go with torturing the legs again. ;) Your class last night sounds like it was great. I wish I had something like that in my area. It would be a nice change. I know...I should teach one but I have no idea how to get started...:confused:
