Holy TABATA INFERNO!!!

Well today has been a good day so far...no cheating on the diet and 2 great workouts
I didSTS disk 1 and tabata inferno from supreme 90!

holy moly what a drencher! feel totally pumped though.

Wendy: i can see your addiction to these types of workouts

wiggie: great weight loss! i have never lost that much in a week :)

Barb: abs are really worth the effort..I am like Wendy with my core...4-5 times a week 15-20 min.

I actually just ordered the Bob Harper core workout...supposed to be 61 min of core work..i am thinking sort of like cs from p90x

I must admit getting back into the drinking tons of water is a bit of a pain.. I am always in the john:eek:

I stayed w/i my points yesterday! Dang, I wish I could do that on a daily basis.
I did LIS->HIS premix and dance class. Fun but still a little trippy on 3rd combos.
Today prob run/walk/HIIT while kids at Barn/TKD. And core, shoulda done that yesterday but I forgot.

Wiggie, thanks for sharing more of your progress, too. You are really inspiring to me. The last 10 pounds probably are the slowest, but it all takes effort and lifestyle changes. In other words, I don't think you have it any easier. : )

I'd like to lose 15 more to put me at a lean strong fit 120.

Good Morning.

Today's work out was CTX Back, BR's July 1st work out called Fierce Friday (4 moves done circuit style 4x thru) and abs from KCM KB. Good stuff and only about 45 mins total time to get it done. :)

Steph:: Oh yes TI is an awesome work out! Haven't done it in a while! No time during the week but perhaps this weekend! How'd the munchie control go last night? I find the free fruit to come in very handy for that! It saved me more then once!

Jody:: Gosh I haven't done HIS in a while. Perhaps that should be my OTHER weekend cardio before I have to start from scratch with learning combo 3! :confused: Nice work out! My goal is always to stay at my 29 DP limit. Ofcourse it doesn't always happen but I always strive for it and gotta say I am able to do it pretty easily as long as I am able to be in total control of what goes in my mouth and do not need to eat food that didn't come out of my own house.
 
Hello to everyone. Today's workout was Turbo Fire Core 20 Class and Turbo Fire Fire 45 EZ CLass. They were both fun. My eats has been right on target all week. I hope the scale moves this Monday. We shall see if not I know that I am gaining muscle because I took my measurement again yesterday and it's moving down, yay. Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Wendy: fierce workout as usual...you really work for your bod and deserve every muscle you get and pound of fat you lose!
Can you see the 3 heads of the deltoids??? I can get 1 maybe 2 if the lighting and angle is right but they are only little shadows:(
oh btw i did hold back on the munchies..kept drinking water which had me up 4x to pee last night:eek:

As for myself..well today i had serious doms from all my STS (meso 1:1-2-3)in two days:eek: or maybe it was the tabata?? So today i just finished IMAX 3...i have lost a little cardio endurance in the past 6 weeks without any serious aero training.. i was gasping by the 8th one but managed to finish. I also had to modify the plie jacks due to doms and the fact that they have to be my most HATED EXERCISE! Tomorrow i am thinking s90 ball and disc 2...we'll see how it all works out..i am back to my 4-5 times a week abs ...that ball one must count as abs? i haven't even previewed it yet:eek:

Popping back in to say that I did CTX All Step (still fun and I've added a riser back into my step for most cardios) and LIC core this morning which is good since it is rainy and my run wouldn't have worked out this eve. I was planning out modifications for today's bodyrock to add onto run, tho I can still do that tonight if I reeeeaaallly want to.

Tomorrow, maybe Drill Max as it is laid out?

I agree, great job, Barb on tape measure. I am due to remeasure after a month of work, hopefully I have good results to report as well. : )
 
Welcome back, Steph!!

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. Work has been so busy 12+ hour days. I havent had much time for anything besides work, sleep and eating. Unfortunately my routine has been....light breakfast or no breakfast b/c I overslept, work thru lunch or munch on some carrots or yogurt and then famished when I get home and I eat fast food b/c I'm too tired to shop or cook. So as a result I havent worked out either and I've gained 3 lbs, taking me back up to 131 lb. I keep vowing myself I wouldnt let myself go back over 130 :( Unfortunately, unless I quit my job, my hours at work will not be changing.

I've still been checking in and reading your posts, everyone is doing so well! I havent had much to say and I feel like I'm the slacker of the group :( But, reading the posts is at least keeping me in a fitness mindset to some degree. Without reading your posts I'd easily fall back into totally letting everything go. I know I need to plan my meals etc, but I honestly havent had the brain power or energy.

Gotta head to work....keep up the good work everyone!!! You keep inspiring me to not give up!

Don't give up Stacy. I know it must be stressing to work those long hours. I know it would stress me.

Today's workout was CLX Burn Circuit 3 and Cathe's abs hits kickboxing. I feel that my core is getting a little bit stronger since I started working on them 2 weeks ago.

At least i kept it to healthy stuff,,pistachios (i read they are good for weight loss), almonds and celery..

Stacy: If you would just get rid of that faulty scale your life would be easier:p Keep reading and posting if it helps. I have been there and understand how discouraging it can get when the numbers keep on lying to you;)

So today i am back to sts back and triceps and hopefully a ball s90...that is my intention and we shall see if it works!

Good Morning.

Today was my weigh in day and I am .6 under goal as of today! :D So ya know what I did? I LOWERED my goal a little bit more! :p I leave for Disney World on Friday for a week. The diet will be out of control and work outs will be sporadic. I figure if I can be a couple pounds under goal when I leave then there will be less damage control to do when I get back! ;) Wish me luck!!!! :rolleyes:

Today's work out was the BR from August 11th (her newest one-12 mins), Shoulders from CTX and 5 min of jumping rope cause it's all the time I had left. :)

Steph:: TY. Very kind words. :) Was checking out my shoulders and I have definition for sure but like you it kinda depends on the lighting and the angle you are looking at them from. LOL. I PM'd you!

Jody:: All Step used to be the bane of my existence. I couldn't do it to save my life. Once I finally learned it I loved it!

Didn't work out Wed, we went to church, yesterday I did Tabata Inferno. I used 5 WP's yesterday.

Quickie- time running out, no workout yet today but wanted to report a positive. Even tho my wt has only dropped 2 pounds from July 12 to Aug 12, I've had some decrease in inches. voot! Otherwise, today has felt like a series of misadventures. Mercury in retrograde not conducive to smooth sailing, so I am told.

Wendy, WDW food, portions are large so maybe plan on sharing meals when you can? save money and points. Have fun. AND BIG CONGRATS on GOAL! (even if you moved it)
 
today i managed to do disk 2 sts, s90 ub and s90cd!!!

right on track!

Happy weekend to all~

I went to health institute/spa to watch my BFFs perform (middle eastern night) and stayed for dinner.
Not too bad on my food yesterday despite running around and going out.
On the run or on way out the door meals were:
Yogurt
Larabar 6pp!
V8 and hb egg
Gargantuan platter of raw leafy greens, sprouts, artichoke for dinner (actually hardly any non green veggies) hummus, olives, grape leaves
chardonnay and mango (back home, treat)
then a pbj with Bettern PeanutButter (sigh, binge, precipitated by the wine)

I ran out of time for Drill Max so I did my modified version of BR Aug 11, same as Wendy but I kept picturing Wendy jumping higher and getting more reps in, lol. Oh well, I did hardest I could. Wendy, I subbed low pulse lunges for 1leg squats. Can you do them like Zuzanna?

Steph, I am going to start lurking in STS forum, I have the series, but haven't used it yet. I was thinking Oct. but I want to reacquaint myself with all my other Cathe w/o first.

Next week I am going to have to plan better for meals b/c work and school resume.

I actually measured myself for the first time so i can see my sts results.

Faith: i lurk on the sts forum but I don't seem to find any that are starting or currently doing it...do you know of one? lemme know. I am actually doing the the discs 2x a week until the new series comes out..then i plan to work them in:D. I figure i'll be in meso 2 by the time they get shipped to Canada and will be only too happy to get down to once a week sts:D Are yo a teacher or a student?

Wendy: Can you bounce quarters off you butt??? haha that the next test of fitness lol (of course after seeing some of the six pack, getting shades of deltoids..)I am hoping to get them bouncing by xmas with the sts and new workouts:D

OMG you are too funny, Steph! :DI was actually just complaining to my DH this morning that I think my butt has drooped a bit since I lost the weight. :( He ofcourse told me I am crazy but I seriously think it did! I used to be able to pass the pencil test before. I don't think I can anymore.:eek: Going to have to remedy that pronto!:eek: Hey, perhaps THAT will be my next rotation!!! Bring on Leandro baby! YEAH! :D That's about the only complaint I have since losing the weight. Everything else is shaping up just as I had hoped! :) Especially my abs, OMG, I am sooo excited about my abs! SERIOUSLY! Ok, enough about me....I hope my PM was helpful to you and good luck with back to back sts work outs! You are a brave girl!

Jody:: I certainly can NOT doing the 1 legged low lunges like Zuzana! I just do my best and forget the rest! :) Congrats on the loss of inches. When I did the P90X rotation years ago I lost more inches then weight. I looked like I lost 10# but I had literally only lost 1 or 2!

Just checking in to say I'm still here, but nothing to report today.

I just previewed the clips of Jillian's new Killer Butt and Thighs....looks tempting.

My body is craving some hard core weight work...maybe I'll do STS Meso 3. I've completed 1 & 2 just not consecutively.

Wendy....was wondering what your WW's points goal is per day? Did you eat at that point range every day??

I'll be on vacation soon (much needed I might add)! I dont think the work situation will be any different when I get back but maybe it'll recharge my battery.
 
Hello again.

Realized that when I checked in earlier I just did personals and never reported my work out which was CTX chest and abs from All Step. I wanted to do cardio but feeling a bit under the weather so I was going to save it for later in the day if I felt better but meh...not happening. Maybe tmrw though. We'll see!

Stacy: My DP range for WW in order to lose is 29 and I try to stick with it as much as possible. I can definitely do it barring any social event I need to go to. I have it down to a science now. Sometimes I choose to go over a by a couple of points just b/c I feel like it but that hasn't happened often at all. Now that I'm happy with my weight though I will be loosening the reigns a bit on that and seeing what I can get away with in terms of using more points w/o gaining weight. I'm not taking their maintenance DP amount for granted. They even tell you it could vary from person to person so I'm going to play around with it a bit. Where are you going on vacation? We leave for Disney at the end of this coming week!!!!
