Guys, next time I whine because I don't lose every week just tell me to hush. I am down 2.6 which makes up for no loss last week. I knew there was a reason I joined this check in. I just need to pay more attention to your words of wisdom. Thanks for all your encouragement!!

I have a new milestone for myself. This morning I jogged 2 entire miles on the treadmill without stopping! It doesnt sound like much but I'm not a runner and I've been plagued with knee issues for years so this is a major thing for me!! My knee was a bit achy toward the end but not the bad achy. I took 2 Advil afterwards and stretched so I'm hoping for no delayed knee issues later today or tomorrow! :)

Now...off to work :(
 
Good Morning.

I am exhausted. Haven't had a good night's sleep yet this week. :(

Despite this I got my butt out of bed and did my work out but I could feel that the lack of sleep had taken it's toll on me. ACK.

My work out was BR work out: 8/3/11 Balls Of Fury + GS Back. I actually did the back work first. Took every ounce of energy I had to finish today's work out. It killed me! UGH. I better get a decent night's sleep tonight! I KNOW I'll end up sick if I don't. :(

Stacy:: Good job on the 2 miler! That's awesome! I was a runner for a few years but quit due to circumstance. I hope to get back into it some day though. I remember when I first started out. I couldn't even jog for a minute w/o wanting to die! It's such a feeling of accomplishment as you gain the endurance to go longer and longer, isn't it? :D

Wiggie:: Happy dance for you and with you girl! That's amazing! You rock! Keep it up! You are doing fiiiiiiine! ;)

Good morning everyone. Today's workout was Turbo Fire Fire 45 Class. It was so much fun. The first combo was a little confusing but I will keep trying to get it. I burned 445 calories.

Wendy I hope you get a good night sleep tonight. I have been getting up lately too but last night I had a good night sleep.

Wiggies, WTG on your weight loss.

Stacy, wow good 2 mile run with bad knees. I hope the advil will take care of it.

FYI:: Heard from Allee the other night and sounds like she is already on her way to getting back on her feet! Moving into a new place at the end of this month or beginning of next! :)
 
Stacy, thanks for the inspiration, I tried to do 2 miles straight steady state, but wasn't sure where it was, turns out I did about 1.5 which wasn't easy. I finished the 4 miles w/ sprint intervals. As I recall, doing intervals made longer steady state easier. Congrats on hitting the milestone.

Wendy, I hope you are feeling better and get some rest tonight. BTW, what exactly about maint. are you concerned about?

Turkey hot dogs w/ kraut and onion for dinner tonight. : )

w/o was HIS first 2 sections, still learning 3rd, and then back and chest. Still getting weights right so didn't max out intensity there either. Later on did 4 miles including sprints. soooo tired...nite all. I hope you had a great day.
 
GM Ladies.

Today's work out was BR Grab Your Balls from July 9th because I caught up to Zuzanna so I didn't have a new work out to do yet. :p I did GS Shoulders after that and it nearly killed me! :eek: LOL Would have liked to get in some jump rope time but I just didn't have the time to spare. Not worried though as I have a cardio w/o scheduled for both sat and sun this weekend!

Jody:: Keep plugging away at combo 3 of HIS. Took me some time, but I eventually got it down reasonably well! I have not maintained a weight below 127# for any extended period of time since I was in my 20's!!! (I'm 39 now!) I got down to just a hair under 125# when I was doing the Insanity rotation a couple years back but once the rotation ended, my weight crept back up and unfortunately it KEPT creeping until I was over 130#. :( I wasn't fat but certainly not the "lean mean fighting machine" that I wanted to be!;) LOL I struggled for over a year trying to just get back to 127# but COULD NOT DO IT. After hearing the praises of WW from a trusted friend/fellow Cathlete for a couple of months I decided to give it a go and to my surprise it worked like a charm! Initially my weight loss goal would have brought me back to being 127# but when I saw how easy WW was to follow and how well it working I added a few more pounds to my goal.;) So as of today I am .5 from goal which is a 9.5 out of 10# weight loss. I weigh 121.5 and am worried about finding the balance I need in order not to gain the weight back once I hit my goal. Once I am done losing it's very easy for me to become too comfortable and complacent. I am afraid I will let my guard down and 5# later....UGH! :confused:

Good morning everyone. Did CLX burn circuit 3, Turbo Fire HiiT 20 and CLX ab burner this morning. My shoulders were burning from burn circuit 3. I am starting to work my abs again. I guess I will start off 2 times a week and then increasing to 3 times a week.

Wendy I hope you got a good night sleep last night.

Jody I still didn't try HIS yet.

Barb, Thanks but no such luck. Got to bed 30 mins earlier last night. Yeah-that wasn't much help. OY. :rolleyes: YES-work those abs girl! I am a firm believer in doing abs MORE then 3x per week! I try to work mine atleast 4x if not more and have seen definite results from it PRIOR to losing any weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
WTG Wendy on BR w/o's! I totally get what your are saying about maintaining a lean wt over the long run. At least we have the tools to stay on track if we choose to use em. My first round w/ WW, had the biggest impact on me eating real fruits and veggies, I barely touched them before that and would go a weeks w/o eating any that weren't processed.

Anyway, I just wanted to jump in and say that I did Bootcamp this morning then rode bike 4 miles too WW mtg where I got this yummy food idea...

Take your Greek yogurt 6-8 oz or whatever and put in food processor w/ frozen fruit for a soft serve icecream like dish.

So I rode my bike back 4 miles, eating tangerines on the way, used LF Greek vanilla yogurt (cabot, so it is sour, not my fave) and threw in frozen banana. and 1 T mini mms. YUM! How can we make this into a chocolate treat? add cocoa?

Today's morning workout was Fire 60. Great workout lots of fun! There was not a dry spot on me. this evening was a BR workout, I think its called Booty Transformation, I did it while watching tv. Again completely drenched when I got through. I think this is the only BR I have the nerve to try.

Wendy when you get to goal you'll get all the maintainance info to prevent those pounds from coming back. As committed as you are to your w/o's I really don't see you having a problem.

I have a problem sticking to a rotation, the only one I've ever stuck to was STS, oh & 4 Day Split
 
Hey Ladies.

Today's work out was GS Legs Standing + 5 minutes of plank work. I originally wanted to do cardio but GS Legs wiped me out. Really didn't have time for cardio anyway so it worked out for the best that I was too tired to do it I suppose. :p

Went to the horse track today with my DH and DS and met up with my mom, her SO and her friend. Fun afternoon spent outside on a beautiful day! I'm exhauted now though. Getting ready to watch a movie. I hope I can stay awake through it! :rolleyes:

Wiggie:: Oh I am not worried about my work outs. It's FOOD I have issues with so we'll see what happens :p BUT I'm not there yet! Still have a leetle bit more to lose before I have to face maintenance thank goodness! LOL
 
Good Morning.

Oh no-got on the scale and it's back down to my goal weight again. This can't be good cause it means I might have to switch to maintenance mode come friday morning! EEK! :p;):D

Today's work out will be GS CHEST and some kind of cardio. I'm not sore at all this morning from GS LEGS. Surprised as heck considering I was about to cry during the darned work out! :eek: Go figure! :confused:

Wiggie, that BR looks pretty straightforward. I will add that to my growing pile of BR w/o's to do.

Wendy, congrats on hanging in there. You are going to continue to eat in this moderate healthy balanced way for the rest of your life and you have the tools to get back on track if you stray. Think about what you would miss if you didn't continue and what would you gain if you do stray? You would get something out of it (binges can be fun, or are you stuffing your feelings w/ food or other point eaters?) Perhaps I should ask myself these questions this morning...Anyway, I know you know that, I bet you will do great and will just gain confidence as you are in it.

I hope Allee can come back, glad things are coming together for her.

Barb, sounds like you are off to a good start with your challenge. I never did abs more than 1 or 2 times a week, but I think I am shifting to Wendy's pov regarding frequency now.

Sat w/o was merely bi and tri from 4DS. I kept Cathe running on player all day long, thinking she might lure me back to do legs or cardio, but it didn't work. Today will be a couple of dance classes and maybe legs.

How is everyone else doing?

Who all have I missed this morning? check in ladies!

PS, did the FF van greek yogurt w/ a cup of frozen mixed fruit, my dd loved it and I had to share and make more for her. I added a little agave to this one since the fruit wasn't as sweet as banana.

Hello All!!

My workouts today were High Reps & HIIT 15, was going to do another one this afternoon & changed my mind, I go back to work tomorrow morning & didn't want to be tired. I took the week off with DH to help him this week after his surgery. He's improving everyday.

I've been staying within my points limit using a few weekly allowance points here & there.

Way to go Wendy!! You are winning the war!

Barb, good luck with your challenge I'm going to go back to the link you posted & check it out!

Jody that treat sounds good, I'm going to try it!
