Workouts That Can be Modified to Low Impact?

Hi all -
I'm 14 weeks pregnant, and have been loving Low Max, LIC and the new LIS for cardio. But I don't want to burn out on them. So I've been playing with my workout collection and have found that Imax 2 and Step and Intervals can be pretty easily modified to lower impact. Also, the step only mix of Imax 3 makes another good low impact cardio workout. Any suggestions from other moms who have modified Cathe's existing workouts to low impact?
Thanks!

I really have enjoyed the 4DS Kickbox cardio and Kickmax lowimpact kickbox premix as well. KPC premix blocks and kicks I believe is another good one, just remember to be ever so mindful of really engaging your pelvic floor and core with those side kicks cuz' it can be an unpleasant experience with those relaxed, stretching ligaments in that area!! DM , HSTA and HSC are also easily modified .Also on the BM2 DVD just doing the w/up ,step combos ,bonus cardio and stretch is a great mix too. I am 30 weeks along and have probably used my premix options more than ever through out this pregnancy. It has been fun!!:)

Well, for the workouts with intervals, I substitute interval moves from Lowmax or LIC or LIS or I pick up a barbell and do leg work of some sort whilst she is jumping around.

With other workouts, I just leave out the jumping or modify it until its doable. Power 7's and 15's are grounded for example. A fast foot repeater would just be left as a regular repeater. Jumping jacks would become heel jacks or just small jumping rope type jumps. I'll just experiment with stuff until I figure something out the keeps me on the same foot as her.

The only thing I can't figure out how to modify is hi/lo, so I just avoid it during pregnancy.

Anyway--it sounds like you are on the right track.

Maggie:)
