WORKOUT SCHEDULE

I WORKOUT ABOUT EVERYDAY AND I FIND IT HARD TO TAKE A REST DAY. HOW IMPORTANT IS A REST DAY? SECOND, I TRY TO LIFT WEIGHTS 2-3 TIMES A WEEK THE REST CARDIO AND THEN SWITCH IT AROUND THE NEXT WEEK. SOMETIMES I FOLLOW A CATHE ROTATION. WHEN I WEIGHT LIFT SHOULD I DO A TOTAL BODY DVD LIKE MUSCLE MAX, OR IS TRAINING DIFFERENT GROUPS BETTER. JUST LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE. LOOKING FOR SOME HELP WITH A SCHEDULE.
 
You should defintely take rest days in between strength training. I have a schedule that works well forme.

SUN: UPPER BODY
MON: LOWER BODY
WED: CIRCUIT
FRI: FULL BODY

In between I do cardio (of course) but as you can see there is at least 24 hours in between strength training. Also, the circuit day usualy is only light strength training with an emphasis on cardio (e.g. Bootcamp). On the other strength days, I go harder with a Muscle Max type video on Friday and Gym Styles or Pyriamid on the specific body part days (Sun, Mon).
