Tuesday-cathe-rythmic step
Wed-Firm-max. body shaping
Thursday-Gay Gasper-two jammin workouts-hi/lo section +Fit for 2 -step and legwork
Friday-Firm-low impact aerobics(vol. 2)( skipped abs and suppine work+ keegels and abs from Fit for 2
Sat-off -still organizing the house

Shopaholic YOU are doing sooo well!!! I'm so impressed with your activity level. FIRM max body shaping is a great video. I traded it for my heart rate monitor & I never did purchase it again. You must collapse at the end of your days... I cannot imagine all that's going on in your life and your never ending discipline. YOu are an inspiration to us all.

I didn't do much for exercise this week. One of the pharmacists at work had a baby last week, so I've been picking up lots of other shifts besides my own. We also had two doctor appointments this week. Usually I'm able to juggle around lifes little surprises, but I only got 2 workouts in this week (even less than last week).

I did Gay's Greatest STep & CTX All Step + stability ball abs. That's it. I almost didn't even post...but then I remember that one week Briee had. I just had to fess up!

I'm cleaning up the house & working out today. I"m so excited!!! :)

Wow Shopaholic,
I, too am impressed. Since I am due tomorrow, you must be at about 38 weeks, yes? 38 weeks is when my energy took a dramatic downturn. When I was 26 and expecting my first child, I did a 1 1/2 hour gym workout the day I went into labor (1/2 hr lifting, 1hr on the treadmill). But 5 kiddos later at 35 (and not starting out this pregancy in the best of shape) I am certainly feeling it. Keep us posted as you approach birth.

Melanie and Briee--thanks for the suggestions! Imax 1 and bowling are out of the question for various reasons:p :p . But both baby and I are so restless, that I am tempted to try cardio and weights, because it is fun and I figured out how to modify it pretty well. I am not sure though, because even walking is difficult right now. Anyhoo, still here and trying to be patient.

take care everyone!
Maggie
due tomorrow

Thank you both for your kind words. Believe it or not my energy is still good which even suprises me. I'm no young one either, being 33. The only reason my energy suffers at times is from lack of sleep. Friday night I woke up 5 times to go to the bathroom and to have a snack.

Shopaholic,I hope when I am 38 weeks I am doing as good as you;-) !
My workout week was:
Monday-All step
Tuesday-Leaner Legs
Wednesday-rest
Thursday-PUB
Friday-PLB
Saturday-Imax 2 (cardio only-none of the blast)
Sunday-4 mile powerwalk

I dont know what possesed me to do 2 leg workouts...my legs are still sore;( !

Well, Maggie, you're doing a great job at keeping us posted, that is very sweet of you. I can't emagine being as far along as you are in this heat. We are having yet another heat wave here in Minnesota as well. I get incredibly hot as well once I get big. At least I did with my first!
Last week I was still recovering from being sick, but I got a little bit in.

Wed.-Rhythmic Step (1st half) Plus just that killed me, I was wiped out for the rest of the day.
Thurs-Tae Bo Advanced Vol.2 (1st half) my son woke up early!
Fri-Power Hour-1st half-didn't want to get too sore after so longof not doing it!

I was pretty proud of myself, being that I seem to possibly have bronchitis. I am going into the doctor today to see if there is anything I can go on to make this cough go away!

Melanie- I have to admit it would be very cool of you, my friend Stacy and I all got together for lunch sometime. We really don't live that far away. I live in Big Lake. So, really St. Coud would be a half way point, I think.
Anyway, you can all look at my week and feel better about yourselfs. You just wait though, I only have 2 weeks to go until I'm in my second trimester, and once I have that unknown thing to me you are all talking about (energy) you will be impressed, I hope.
Keep up the great work ladies!!

Melanie...you had to remind me of that yucko week didn't you :p :p :p . Glad it encouraged you though ha ha. And I'm glad to see that someone else has "those kind of weeks", but I have to admit...you had a reason to have one, I can't imagine working all those hours and doing anything (and being pregnant!!)...I don't think I had an excuse x( .

Monday - somehow this became a rest day.
Tuesday - ctx upperbody
Wednesday - PLB skipped abs...something just felt funky
Thursday - PUB upperbody (went really heavy) with LL Abs, just couldn't fathom doing pikes this morning.
Friday - IMAX II only intervals 1-5, was really lagging here.....my legs were still so sore from PLB, I love that hamstring work!!!

Saturday and sunday.....busy and rest days!!!

Where's Maggie, it's your due date!!!! You still with us Maggie, I know you were yesterday, but you haven't checked in today. Had my sons birthday party this morning and I was thinking of you!!!!

You guys are all doing so great!!!! Keep it up!!

HI everyone!
Happy birthday to your son, Briee. I doubt that he and my son will be sharing a birthday, though:( .

Last night at the evening service at church, I was having pretty intense contractions 10 minutes apart for a couple of hours, but then they went awayx( . Today in the last couple hours I have had a few that have lasted for several minutes, but they are 20-30-min apart, so I am not too excited. Praying for patience! (did sleep really well last night--about 8 hrs, which hasn't happened in a looong time)

Kathy--how far along are you now? Closing in on that first trimester milestone? Oh how I hated morning sickness. It is the worst. Hang in there.

Take care everyone!
Maggie
due today:p

Just wondering how Maggie is doing. Still no baby? Maggie your workouts have helped motivate me. Maggie, how many cm dilated now? I am now 2 cm dilated, 50%effaced. Doctor says I can go at any time.

I hope I did not post this twice.

Shopaholic--hi--actually I posted above, just before you did with more detail. No baby yet:-( . As of last Thursday I was 3cm dialated and she did not say how much effaced, although the previous week I was 2 cm and 50% effaced. Maybe you will have your baby before I have mine;) .

Take care and keep us posted.

Maggie
due today:p

Maggie, you are ready to go any time with patterns like that, I know how frustrating they are when they don't continue. With our 4th, I remember sending the kids to the neighbors around 12:00 noon because contractions were regular and strong and then after they left the contractions stopped and I called them back home and then around 3:00 p.m. they started again and I sent them off again and I was getting so frustrated, but it did finally continue and baby was born around 5:30p.m. But all that starting and stopping was sooooooo tiring emotionally as well as physically. It will happen soon - hang in there!! AND after the baby is born - well your out of the club, you're just going to have to start a post baby work out thread and ......he he, now you know I'm kidding.:) :)

Shopaholic, keep us posted, we'll be buggin' you next!!!

Melanie.....I'm entering the third trimester on September 17th (since I'm due December 17th) and I'm counting it down, does this sound right????

No mucous plugs yet? Awwwww. I"m so disappointed. ;) Third trimester? It sounds so far away. What week does that begin? Week 28? I'm enjoying my little belly bulge without the nausea of 1st trimester & 75% energy level as pre-pregnancy. 3rd trimester is the 'growing' trimester...I'm not sure if I'm ready for it. That sounds strange, doesn't it? It just sounds so uncomfortable!!!!

It'd be fun to meet for lunch or an exercise session in St. Cloud Kathy. I've never actually met someone in person that I 'met' on the internet. There are several fitness clubs in St.Cloud, we could go to a step class & go for a swim afterwards or something. That'd be awesome! I haven't been to a club in years!!! You can e-mail me directly at [email protected] and we could work out details.

Maggie, are still there with us? Anxiously awaiting some birthing stories here....

Hi all! You knwo what I forgot about in my last post? I did 20 min on a stationary bike on Friday too, there, now it doesn't look as bad! Uh, I went to the doctors yesterday to see why I am not getting better from this cold, I have brochitis! So, I am on an antibiotic, I only have to take it for three days and I'm done though. No wonder why Rhythmic Step kicked my butt last week!
Maggie, I am now 10 1/2 weeks along, yes right now I'm counting even the halves!! Do you want to know how many hours? J/k!! I am not that bad, but I bet you feel that way if you knew exactly when this baby will decide that it's time. I have never had the experience of waiting before, my first was 4 weeks early. He was actually due April 3rd, born March 3rd. This one is due April 2nd, can you believe that! I am really praying that I carry this one to term. My little boy doesn't need to share a birthday! I would feel horrible if that happened. But what can you do, right?
Mel I will e-mail you in a bit, this will be very cool to met someone off the internet, I have never done this before!
You all take care!
