Workout log for week of Jan 11th

Hi Ladies,
This is my first time posting my log. I ran to the forum this morning to find no log and darn it, I worked hard this week, I have to start it... :) I read the postings every week and told myself that I would post as soon as I have something to report.

I'm currently 17 weeks along. I was able to workout early in the pregnancy but the morning/afternoon/night sickness and tiredness kicked in and I did not feel up to working out until I was about 13 weeks along. Then, this same week I had a little scare where I started bleeding (minimal) and cramping and doctor recommended that I rest for a few weeks. Well, I'm happy to report that it was been a little over 3 weeks and I feel completely normal and the bleeding stopped the same day I saw the doctor over 3 weeks ago. Yeah!

What has been a blessing this week is to feel the babies first movements! Since this is baby #1, I am not absolutely sure it is the baby, but, I can tell you the little flutters I feel are not gas. :)

Anyway, I did take it easy this week just in case...I will have more to report in the coming weeks.

Here is my log:

Sunday - 1/11 - Shape It Up (all but the floor work)
Monday - 1/12 - WU & 4 hi/lo sections & CD of Kick, Punch & Crunch and also the remaining floor work of Shape it Up
Tuesday - off (watched hubby play volleyball)
Wednesday - off (watched hubby play volleyball)
Thursday - off
Friday - Tone it Up
Saturday - walked about 1 mile

Since it has been several weeks since I worked out I tried to take it easy. I stuck with Slim Series because I can tell my cardio skills are lacking. I did so many toning workouts that my body is sore. I'm not complaining. It really feels good to workout again and regain 'normalcy'.

Hope eveyone had a good week!

Congratulations on your pregnancy. It is great to have you joining us here on the pregnancy/postpartum forum. You are smart to take it easy and listen to your body.

Hi Christy! Thank you for starting the log this week! I think that Melanie may have had the baby, or she is so close that she hasn't been able to visit us here! How exciting for her! Anyway, congrats on your pregnancy! It is so much fun to feel the baby move! As your little peanut gets bigger inside, it gets even cooler!!! I'm so glad that you are having fun!

Well, here is my log for last week:
Sun: Step Blast
Mon: Timesaver #1
Tues: Timesaver #2
Wed: Timesaver #3
Th: TS #4
Fri: off
Sat: Firm - BSS - Body Sculpt

I am really noticing that I get short of breath much faster now! I guess that as long as I get some form of working out into my schedule, it is better than none! Enjoy your week girls! :D

Hello ladies! I hope everyone is doing well!

Christy, I am happy you are doing well after your scare. Oh, it is so exciting you are feeling the baby move!! :) It is so reassuring when you get to that point in pregnancy.

Sara, how do you like the TimeSavers? I am thinking of using those after I tire of the CTX... which I just can't imagine... I love this series!!

I am back in gear... last week was much better. My daughter must have missed me exercising, she gets so excited when she knows it is time. Oh, and Cathe or "Caffee" IS exercise. If I dare try to use another instructor, she cries "no, mommie exercise." I've tried explaining that I am exercising but she responds "no, mommie exercise with Caffee." :) She is just too cute. Ok, enough about my cutie.

As I was saying, this last week was much better. I did take a few more breaks than before and LL was just painful. When I do LL, I swear I hear those words from Gladiator when Russel Crowe's chararcter says, "at my signal, unleash hell". :) Just kidding. :)Anyway, here is my workout log:

Sunday: Off
Monday: CTX KB
Tuesday: CTX 10-10-10
Wednesday: CTX PC
Thursday: CTX LL
Friday: CTX S&I
Saturday: CTX AS - shoulders only

I hope everyone has a good week! Take care!

Hi Autumn! I really like the TS series! I think that the new step portions are so fun! I have to say, though, that I felt like I work each body part better with CTX. You might like them for a change, though. :D

Hi, Autumn. Glad you're able to workout again. Isn't it tough to take time off? I got so sick with my first 2, I couldn't workout until 16 weeks.

I don't remember my week exactly anymore, as it's almost time to post the next one, but it looked something like this (I didn't even know I was pg for 1/2 of it!)

Sunday: Step Pump (is that the name of Cathe's new one? with the 3 high impact and put it altogether at the end?) all the way thru
Monday: Super sets
Tuesday: Step Jump & Pump
Wednesday: Push Pull
Thursday: Cardio Kicks (up to interval portion at the end)
Friday: Off
Saturday: Legs & Glutes or the rest of Cardio Kicks

It would help so much if I could just remember the names of all of Cathe's new tapes! Soon, I'm sure. They all seem so similar this time.
