Workout Floor

Hi Everybody --

This is my first post -- I have been a long long time Cathe fan and have now just decided to post a question for the first time.

Later this month, I will be moving into a new house. My new workout room will have carpeting in it, I am a little nervous about working out on carpet, I have also worked out on hard wood floors until now. Can anyone suggest a good floor to put on top of the carpet -- I am nervous about the trip and fall factor. Or, should I tear out the carpet all together and replace with hard wood -- I am looking for an inexpensive option.

Thanks!!!
Tammy

Hi Tammy,

Welcome to the forums!:)

LaughingWater first suggested these puzzle mats from Amazon:

I got them a few weeks ago, and I love them! I work out in a spare bedroom, and they go down easily over my carpeted floor. They were a little slippery at first, but they're much better now.

Ironman also makes a 10mm version, but my knees and ankles are really happy that I bought the thicker 20mm ones!

Hope this helps! :)
