workout blender availability / prem package

Hi Chris. I notice that with the one year nutrition membership we are entitled to among other things, the workout blender plus some download time. I have a few questions:

1. Is this the same workout blender concept that was discussed at last year's RT (which sounded really exciting)? And if so,

2. Do you have any idea (I know the dreaded question) when it may appear on the horizon?

3. If I purchase the year package and the blender is not available within that year, is there some kind of tracking mechanism that would still entitle me to that benefit when it would become available, even if I were not to repurchase the nutrition plan again? TIA

Yes, this is the same blender (WB) I talked about at last year’s road trip. We currently have just finished beta 3 of the WB and really only have one major component left to develop for the product. I wouldn’t want to speculate on a release date, but I really don’t see this taking another year to develop, so you should be fine purchasing the premium membership. Regardless, we would always honor our promise of a Free Workout Blender to anyone who purchases a One Year Premium membership regardless of when the WB is released.

Thanks - I purchased the NS the first day it was available and my 1 year will end in July.
Will we have to renew our NS subscription to receive WB and other goodies that were promised?
I have gotten pretty good at knowing what to eat and what not to eat from this software. I am not sure I really need to track it for another year....

One Year Gold Premium Membership

Our One Year Gold Premium Membership (All sales final.) includes use of the following:
1. One year of use of our online nutrition software (see demo on home page)
2. Once available: Free Workout Blender (normally $19.99) + 3 free hours of video downloads for your iPod.
3. 10% off any Fitness by Cathe equipment and accessory items purchased from our website (coming this summer)
4. Free future updates and features to our Gold Premium Membership plan.

Do I have to sign up for another year to qualify for item #2 since it was not available for the year I was a member?

Well shoot. And yet ... it HAS taken another year. Any ideas when this concept, that was unrolled 2 years ago at the RT might launch?

I finally got an answer about this - :( So much for Charter members :(

We will not be offering the "Free Workout Blender" at this time. However, once this software is available, we will make this offer available ONLY to those who have purchased the Nutrition package at the time the software was offered.

Umm Jann - that info is in direct contradiction from what Chris said a year ago. Wow - I really hope that SNM will now not go back on what was promised then. I guess I'm glad I didn't purchase the nutrition package. That's really too bad.

You're not reading our response correctly. What we said is if you purchased the 1 year premium membership when we made this offer we will honor it once the WB is available.

Jann - I think the misunderstanding is in the terminology used. When Josh says ...ONLY to those who have purchased the Nutrition package at the time the software was offered - I think he means the only ones who get the WB are those who purchased the nutrition package when IT, i.e. the nutrition package was first offered?????? When he says "the software was offered" I don't think he means the WB software - which is how I took it too. I hope SNM will clarify exactly what software Josh was referring to - the nutrition package software of the WB software. It has to be the former (though to be safe you should probably print out this thread.;)). Good luck.

Thanks Lorrie!! I hope I am misunderstanding the verbiage too. I copied this thread to my PC. :)
