I have run in races for the past three weekends. I've been running for years and used to be happy with a 27 minute 5K.
Since adding Cathe IMAXs and weight lifting to my training I'm seeing results that are making me very, very happy.
Two weeks ago I ran a 1/2 marathon relay with a friend. I don't know what my time was but it was under 2 hours and together we finished in under 4 hours, winning our division.
Last Sunday I ran a 10K with an 8:19 average pace.
Today I ran a 5K in 24:48 which is an even 8 minute pace, third in my division.
The 5K today was along dirt roads and trails through a vineyard, (Think Sideways if you saw the movie.)
