Work out sick?

I woke up this morning with a slight cough and a stuffed up head. (This Ohio weather is killing me!!). It is not so bad that I had to stay home in bed, but I'm definitely not at 100%. Do you think I should do my workout today(P90X Core Synergistics, my favorite!!) or should I skip it until I feel a little better? I REALLY don't want to skip this one because I love it, but I also don't want to make my cold (or whatever this is) worse. Advice???
 
IMO if you feel up to it, go for it. If you were running a fever I'd say no way but with a cold or allergies, I'd say it just depends on if you feel you can get through it or not.
 
The general rule I've seen is if it's above the neck, then go ahead and exercise. If it's below, the don't (because intense exercise can exacerbate lung problems).

I think it's a toss-up here. Realize that your immune system is probably already fighting something, and exercise can just add stress to that and make whatever it is harder to fight, or last longer. Maybe do a lower intensity workout for today, or even a yoga workout, and see how you feel tomorrow.
