Woo Hoo!! I just did a chinup!!!

I am so excited!! I got my chinup tower for Christmas and started a round of P90X in Jan. My goal was to do a chinup before my 40th birthday in June. Goal achieved. Now I have to make a new one LOL!
Actually for the past couple of days I'd just mess around and jump up on the bar every now and then and attempt. Was getting really close- eyeballing the bar ya know. I thought, I'll do one before the end of the week. Anyway, I know I am rambling but I am so excited!!

Thanks Missy, I think I'll go for two in a row for now,... Who knows maybe I'll be working on three in a row by the time I'm forty!! I was talking to my SIL and told her. Her response- only one? x( I was like uh how many can you do? Of course she can not do one.

Congrats! It's a great feeling, isn't it?!!! Wait till you see what it will do for your upper body really quickly if you keep them up and add to your reps. Body weight exercises are the absolute best.

Hey Ladies,I just wanted to add that I was able to repeat my chin up today. Today I actually did two sets of 1 rep. I know that sounds funny,... I was afraid that yesterday was a fluke and I'd never be able to do one again. DH even got to see me do one this evening. Still excited and elated!!!

Hey..that's great! You have set a goal to achieve them...like you have to have a dream for a dream to come true. Good job. Keep adding more #'s and sets. Body weight exercises are a killer and they show. Club boy.
