I admit, I am really dreading the weight gain this time around. I gained 42 pounds last time and felt so yucky at the end. I look at pregnancy pictures from last year and the weight plus edema (I had lots of swelling) are too much for me to handle!

Also, Max is almost weaned. We're down to strictly the bedtime feeding. In the past week or 2 the morning and nap feeding just disappeared. I am very happy about this because of the fact that I am so tired. He is so healthy and happy that I don't feel any sadness.

Thank you Shopaholic! There was a lot of sadness, but it is impossilbe to be totally depressed with Sydney around. :) She can put a smile on someone's face pretty easily.

Alexis sounds adorable!!!

Emy, you had a great week! I know what you mean about the weight gain... 44 pounds with Sydney and 47 with Jordy Bug. I hate the pics of me post-partum. ICK!!!! Maybe, you will gain less this time.

I think I'll do Rhythmic Step this week... I love that video. I am still following the P90X rotation... Phase 3 I think it is called... with a little Cathe mixed in.

Jordy Bug is 5 months old today. Wow! He is rolling all over the place. He has a HUGE appetite. He was watching us eat and chewing along with us at meals when he was 31/2 months old... so we introduced food at about 4 months. He eats 2 small jars of food/day plus cereal. We knew he needed the food when DH started giving him bottles at bedtime and he would consume 10-12 ounces AFTER nursing all evening. He is sure different from our daughter... she wasn't interested in food until 8 months.

Speaking of my "Hungry man"... he is paging. Gotta run.

Take care!

Great week Shopaholic. Emy, I totally know what you mean with the pictures. My face gets so round when I'm pregnant. Yuk. I don't like my prego pics at all. Your workouts look great too. Autumn, I cannot believe the Jordan eats that much! Justin doesn't eat that much! He's quite the nurser though.

He likes his num-nums (that's what we call my bosoms). I"m going to try to wean him a little as he's almost 11 mos old already. I'd like to get him down to nighttime/morning feedings & into juice and milk with lunch. My frozen breastmilk is freezer burned and I"m not sure I want to give it to him. I've been able to get by without formula and I"m not sure if it'd be worth it to give him formula for just a month and then whole milk...or just go ahead and give him whole milk at one setting (even though it's recommended that they have breastmilk/formula until one year). I think I'll go with whole milk b/c it's only one feeding supplement & I don't want to confuse him (although I'm the one that sounds confused).

Not a great week exercise-wise. Justin isn't taking AM naps before I go to work, so i have to re-vamp my exercise plan. Lastnight I worked out at 930pm when Justin went to sleep. That might work. I also worked out yesterday morning before work for 40-min. It's kind of entertaining exercising with a little squirt under your feet. It makes step aerobic super challenging as I'm working hard not to step on him!!!! I'm also hitting my abs hard...working these on days when nothing else fits in.

Happy Holidays ladies!!!

Melanie, That is just like me, but you described it so cute! If Max is awake during my workout, he often is crawling all over the step during my aerobics. It is so funny to THINK ABOUT, but not always funny WHILE I'm trying to get my workout over and out of the way.

Anyway, I was doing Step Blast this evening and wondered if Cathe uses cue cards to remember the routine or if it's all commited to memory. She seemed to keep looking over in the same direction, and that made me wonder. What do you all think?
