*** Wintery Cooler Week of Dec. 1st ****

Just finished the last of the CTX but had to skip the plank/ab work as it kept freezing! What a great early Christmas present as I absolutely detest plank work!

Snowing and cold here!! Tomorrow is supposed to be like -35 (With windchill) and ds class is supposed to go on a sleigh ride. I think we'll skip church this morning  as such a busy weekend and the weather is so bad. DD was sick once during the night ( all over our bed ), sometimes she does that because of a nightmare but want to make sure she's ok especially as her piano recital is tonight. They do a little play between the kids playing their songs as she has quite a main role so maybe a little nervous stomach as well.

Patricia Glad you had a nice company dinner. DH's Christmas party was very nice as usual, I just had two drinks and DH didn't drink as he still recovering. The food was great and I overindulged, oh well, it's the season! Which workout did you do that made your calves so sore?? I do like LL, it moves along quickly without a whole lot of endless reps and the music is neat.

My mom decided yesterday that she might come with us on our trip  Me, the compulsive planner, booked our trip in Aug 2007 and she wants to book 3 days before  I would love to have her come so I was checking some websites for her this morning, we'll see what she decides.

Hi all,
Feeling much better...still some mucous and a little coughing but definitely on the mend.

Yesterday began with a step and weights circuit premix from SJP, with abs and planks added. After that, we went out for the day and had a nice Christmas Tree cutting outing with other members of my family. Beautiful weather, probably in the 40's to low 50's. We cut 3 trees, nice silvertip firs.

Today's workout was about 40 minutes of hi-lo from Christi Taylor. After doing some house cleaning, I golfed 18 holes with a co-worker/friend of my DH. Thought DH was going to go too, but he wanted to stay home and split wood. I golfed a pretty good score for me on the back 9 holes, but not as well on the front. It was fun though and nice weather for all but the last 2 holes that got a little chilly. After that, I went to my folks house as it was my Mom's birthday. She and Dad have both had this same lousy cold that DH and I had/have. It was nice visiting with her.

Kim, I don't hate planks, but I hate how my stomach skin/fat hangs down. I just try not to look, LOL. That will be nice to have your Mom along on the trip. Poor DD, bet she felt doubly bad getting sick on your bed. How was the piano recital?

Patricia, sounds like you had a nice time at the dinner. Hope your DS isn't getting sick. Too much of that around these parts. This cold seems to be really contagious. Have you run that snow blower yet? Now that's something I've never tried yet.

Laurie, how is the neck? What did you do to injure it? Yep, I know Christi Taylor isn't for a lot of people. She and her cuing just totally click for me. I could be away from the routine for months and just pick it up again the first time. However, Cathe's 4DS step routines are not well cued and I still have trouble doing them smoothly the first time thru after an absence. Oh well.

Must get a move on. Will not take tomorrow as a rest day as I had plenty of them this week already.

Glad you're feeling better Jeanette! Did you get the tree up ?

DD's piano recital went well but we (grandma's came as well) were seated right beside the piano and she was busy looking as us and made a mistake. :D She did great overall though, she played Jingle Bells!
