winter cold!

Hi All....
i have a winter cold...seems to be going around. I'm leaving for vacation next week, and was so looking forward to bumping up my workouts, want to feel better in a swim suit. Now, that I got this cold, its the total opposite. I took 2 days off in the middle of the week and today (SAt.) off.
I hate this.....I want to workout, but know its probably best to rest. I did Yoga yesterday, to at least move. Does anyone do anything when they are sick, or do you take it easy???
Bumped out!!
Thanks.

I did a Spinervals workout today, and I'm feeling under the weather from a cold. My cold is all above the neck (not a chest cold) so it's okay for me to workout. If I had a cold in my chest or the flu, I wouldn't have worked out. I took care to listen to my body and when I started to feel fatigued I stopped - ended up skipping the last session just because I was worn.

So, I guess I'm saying - if you have a head cold, and you're feeling up to a workout, do one, but make it a lower intensity than you normally do, and really monitor how you're feeling.

You guys have GOT to try ColdMD! That stuff is amazing! If you feel like you're getting sick I swear it will help you fight it off (you take 2 twice a day for 3 days). And once you have it, it claims to help you get rid of it really quick. I read about it in Oxygen magazine. I've even made a believer out of my DH. You can get it the cheapest at Wal-Mart. You can get it at Walgreens but it's about $10 more.

I hope you all feel better!

I have been eating a 1000mg vitamin c a day. I really can't get sick after this surg and so far so good. When someone comes in the shop with a cold i pop another 500. Can't hury and your body will just deplete what it doesn't need.
Airborne is supposed to work.
