Windy Moves....

No, not moves that make you release wind...:p , What moves get you the most winded? My most hated regular move is dynamic windmills and dynamic outer thighs. I get winded every video we do these in. Now don't even get me started on the high impact moves............

And any kind of airborne jumps/jacks/tucks, etc. I have a hard time with going vertical, so I get very winded from those moves. The force of gravity is greater in the localized region around my big butt. ;)
 
Power scissors, or power lunges, or whatever they're called--the ones in IMAX1 & Kick Max--those things kill me & I literally dread them before I even put the workout in the machine. :p
 
Yes, any vertical movement really gets me tired! I'm surprisingly getting better at airbourne jacks but my jump tucks are really pathetic!
And I'm not sure why but those hammer lunge things in KPC (where you pretend your arm is the handle and your hand is the iron), just kill me everytime! I have to force myself to do them. Maybe it's just a mental thing.

Yes, the hammer punch ones are death to me too. LOL! Laura with the power scissors, I never have a chance to lose my breath because I always lose my balance first. LOL! An I only do 8 plie jacks per workout.....someone has to set a limit here!:D
 
Christi, maybe we should have another post discussing moves that cause you to break wind! ;) I've got a few of those too... :p
 
Those windmills used to get me very winded, but my body learned to cope as I used KPC more and more. Those sumo squats get me really winded, especially when I keep my legs closer together, hips squared, and sit really low (very controlled movements) as my arms use full range of motion. Those ski hops with tuck jumps in IMAX 2 also get me every time. And plyo jacks, of course.:)

Pretty much any of the cardio segments from Bootcamp have me gasping for air. And the blast in Imax 3 with the uneven lunge/over the board/uneven lunge and then 9-14-14 power lunges off the side of the board? I pretty much need the portable defibrillator after that one:p
 
Plie jacks - they absolutely kill me. They also get me "winded", so it's good that I am up early before anyone else in the household - especially with all the grains I eat!

The other move that gets me are the jumps on and off the step from a side position (IMAX 3 # 7). By the last 8 jacks, I'm ready to keel over.
 
Sumos, icebreakers, plyo anything, speed skaters, pretty much anything high impact gets me winded.

For me it's whatever she does during IMAX2 #9. What the heck is it called anyway - straddle hops and then kick your heels together. Ugh!:eek:
 
Yes, those plyo jumps/jacks and the tuck jumps. The 28 consecutive kicks and then you have to repeat on the other side in KM or KPC, I forgot. Argghhh!

It's a good thing we're all at home on those "windy" days! LOL! :7
