Just watching yesterday's Today Show interview with Eddie Nelson - the father of the 4 year old William, who was found in the rest stop after his mother was shot in front of him. Such a heartbreaking story, and it's so obvious how much his parents loved him.
I was telling my daughter about it last night and was very glad I spent time when she was very young teaching her my REAL name (not just "mommy") and her address and phone number. You can't underestimate how important it is for little ones to know that.
