Will you be pre-ordering STS?

Are any of you planning on pre-ordering the STS series? I am very interested as I have liked everything Cathe has put out. My concern this time around is I am expecting my first baby and I don’t know what to expect once the baby is here – from an exercise perspective. My goal is to get back into exercise postpartum but how realistic is that. Will I have time to workout? Will I have built back up to something as advanced as STS? Will exercise still have as much importance in my life that I will be willing to commit to that kind of time/program? Will I be pregnant again by the time STS is released? I would hate to invest the money in STS and never get any use from it. I was wondering what some of you may or may not be doing. TIA.

I will not be ordering it. But not because I'm concerend about my desire or ability to work out post-baby. That's engrained as part of my lifestyle, regardless of what direction my life takes me.

However, the serious weight training regime is not up my alley. I have the Gym Styles, and I'm not a fan. My body responds better to circuit and total body style work. I need at least 4 days of cardio, and STS does not interest me for that reason.
The other piece is the cost and complication of the program. Given that I'm not that interested in heavy weight training, it seems like a lot to have to invest in terms of time and money for the system.

Just not my thing, I guess.

I pre ordered STS. I'm really excited about taking weight training to the next level. Although I'm a cardio junkie as well, my body is really starting to rebel--I struggle with tweaky knees, a funky SI joint, and achilles tendonitis, so as I move into my 40's I think that clean eating and weight training is where it's going to be for me.

I'll have to mix more low impact cardio in with my high impact. I'm bummed, but it's reality for me.

If nothing goes wrong this pregnancy, I'll probably be in my 3rd trimester when STS is released, so I won't be doing it right away.

I would not spend $200, unless I were convinced I would use it.

Hi Maria,

My little one is 9 weeks old and I am not pre-ordering STS. I love all of cathe's weight workouts, but in my quest to get back into pre-prego form I will be returning to the Gym Styles. Although I am lucky and DH watches Nico while I exercise, I am at a point where I don't want to have a routine/set plan for my workouts. I play it by ear - some days I have more energy than others, some days I am still sore, etc. I just try to make sure I hit each body part 2x/week on top of cardio and leave it that.

STS sounds really great, but at this point I am not ready to commit to it. I used cathe for 2 yrs before being prego and throughout my pregnancy if that helps give some persepective :)

Best of luck!

I'm not preordering STS because I am really bad about sticking to a program for longer than a couple weeks. It does sound like a great workout regime, but knowing my own personality I know I won't have the commitment time wise to go through it. I make it a point to workout a few times a week, but it's all according to what goes on during the day for me on what kind of workout I do and how long I workout. I don't know if STS has that flexibility. I want to know a little more details before I make a commitment to the STS since not only is it a long program, but pricey as well.

If you're in doubt, maybe hold off for a little bit to see. You can always order it after it's been released although it will be at a higher price. Maybe see what your schedule will be like after baby comes then decide from there.
