Will the Cathe store offer 25# barbell weight plates?

I have asked and customer service (Thanks , Nancy!) told me the new barbell being offered has been successfully tested for 200#.

I'm wondering if there are any plans in the works to offer a set of 25# plates.

If not, (and that's ok if it's not feasible) then I'm wondering if using regular old school iron weight plates can be used with the new barbell?

Just wondering if the barbell is only recommended for use with the vinyl covered cement mixture core weight plates.

Hi Lady Vol. perhaps in the future, but we don't have any current plans to do so.

I am curious as to whether the barbell is okay to use with old style Weider metal plates. (I did not see that question get answered up above) They fit. If the barbell can hold up to 200 lbs., one assumes that the composition of the plates should not matter?
