why is this happening... all of a sudden

for the last couple days i havent been able to complete my workouts. I have the whole month already mapped out on a calendar on my fridge and so far this week I have only been able to complete one work out, which surprisingly was imax2. this is kind of discouraging me. my son said he thinks i did too much too soon. I have been doing six days a week for the last 5 1/2 weeks. I am eating right and resting, what could be the problem?
 
How close are you to TOM. I have a definate energy drain the day before it starts, maybe that is what you are dealing with. Or you are coming down with a cold. Lots of reasons. How have you been eating? Our bodies are not machines, they have ups and downs.
 
If it's only been a few days, I wouldn't worry about it too much, especially since it sounds like you've started a major exercise program just recently. Your son might have something there - but have you felt really good up until now, with no problems in completing the workouts?

There are some days that I just don't want to even move, much less work out. On other days, I feel like I could go on forever. When I feel "slow," I do pick an easier workout, and I know it's the right thing to do. As Cathe always says, "listen to your body." Maybe you should try to bump your workouts down a notch just for another few days, then pick them back up again and see how it feels.
 
Maybe you are fighting something off, just not actually getting sick? I'm only guessing here. I wonder about it also because I only get a cold maybe once every 2 years but occasionally I'll have a weak couple days and I suspect that's it.

Congrats on your good habits though!
