I'm new here but not to Cathe workoust and was excited to see something coming to Chicago until I read that it was actually 80 miles away and not in Chicago at all. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend but I'm just wondering is anything being held in Chicago and if not, why is it called a Chicago road trip?

It's called the Chicago road trip because it is being held at a location very close to Chicago. It's very common to name events like this and sporting teams after the biggest nearby landmark city. Though we were originally looking at holding this event within the city limits we just could not find a suitable location inside the city and hence the move to the Grand Geneva.
