Why is it...

that no matter how good you feel when excercising faithfully and eating right you can still slip and pig-out. I know how great I feel when I'm eating all my fruits and vegs and when I don't have any soda (I love my mountain dew in the afternoon)or sweets. Yesterday it was like my mind was acting on its own. I know the food issues I have are all a mental thing and I have to get past them but I have those days when I fall and it is a hard fall. I've been a lifetime WW for 4 years now and I'm struggling to get about 10-15 pounds off. And I know if I'd just get my act together I can do it. Sorry to be such a whiner today but I think all the junk I ate yesterday is making me crabby today. Thanks for listening. I'm looking forward to my Cathe tonight. I'm doing the CTX series this week and tonight is Step Intervals.

It's b/c you're HUMAN! It's OK to slip once in a while. Jeez, we need something to look forward to.........

It's okay Kimbra...we all go through this from time to time. I was struggling with it for a couple of weeks earlier in the month. ~sigh~

Just don't give up...jump right back in, as you're planning. By the way, when I go on a binge it makes me crabby too! ;-)

Put up a HELP sign in the forum if you need a good talking to! LOL

Don't be so hard on yourself. It happens to us all.

I've just noticed that the junk-food junkies around here haven't discovered the wonders of Toblerone. The vending machine has had a full stock of Toblerone bars for a few weeks and no one has touched them. I'm SO tempted to go buy one because I know how great they are, but I don't think I could stop at the one chunk that I'd plan on eating. So...I'm not giving in to temptation. Today anyway.

I wish someone would figure out how good those are and eat them all!!!!!!!

Donna,

You should buy one or two and lay them out for someone else to try...then maybe the bars will be gone from the vending machine in no time.

Great minds think alike, I was just toying with that idea myself....then I could have my one chunk and give the rest away.

Try not to be down on yourself for the struggles you have, but be proud of yourself for being active and striving to be healthier. Look at it this way...one day of junk food eating is not going to change everything, just like ONE DAY of working out doesn't do the opposite! Give yourself a break AND a pat on the back for effort:D
